Ring solar Eclipse
Name : Sintia Danik Setiawati Class : Science Education 3B Text Prosedural “Ring Solar Eclipse” Ring solar eclipse a natural phenomenon. They are so spectacular because the moon and sun appear almost the same size. Based on an official explanation from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency, this Ring Solar Eclipse occurs when the Sun, Moon, and Earth are precisely aligned, and at that time the disc of the Moon observed from Earth is smaller than the solar disc. Ring Solar Eclipse process will then pass through the ring path with the first contact phase to the fourth contact. 1. First contact phase This first contact is also called initial contact. This contact occurs when the disc of the Moon begins to cover the disc of the Sun. 2. Second contact phase Over time, the neglected disc of the Sun gets bigger and bigger until finally, the entire Moon begins to cover the disc of the Sun. 3. Third contact phase After passing its peak period, the eclipse will roll and end when the entire disk of the Moon last covers the disc of the Sun and is called the third contact. 4. Fourth contact phase After the third contact has been made, the disc of the Sun that looks distracted will get smaller. Until the last time, the Moon covered the disc of the Sun. The length of time from the second contact to the third contact is known as the Ring Duration or Ring Phase. The length of this time varies from city to city, meanwhile, the time from initial contact to final contact is known as the duration of the eclipse and the length of time it occurs also varies. However, this Ring Duration will not occur in all regions. But only in locations where the ring path passes.
