Great!
Jaime’s vocal strategy’s have been the best that I have ever come in contact with. Ben and he make signing really understandable and fun to listen to. The one thing is that they should come back to the podcast!
I like the new one
Vocal Teachers
This podcast has some great information for those who want to sing like they have never sung before! Other teachers were able to bring me to a really good level. Jaime took me from comfortable to confident in a matter of a few on his online lessons. Incredible teacher with a crap load of knowledge and really just a great guy over all. Thank you, Jaime for helping me to reach new levels that I didn't know how to get to!

Terrific instruction as always!
Jaime and Ben deliver terrific words of wisdom as always. What a great podcast! I'm an older singer and just starting out, so the first episode hit it right on the money :} You're never too old to start training to sing! The talent vs skill conversation also gives more hope and confidenence in this fun journey. It was great to also learn about some of Jaime's other products like V24 and his history studying Jim Gilette and Thomas Appelle. As always thank you so much and looking forward to future episodes.

I've listened to lots of vocal coaches and taken lessons from several. The things I've learned from Jaime have been the most helpful and have made a difference the quickest.

Practical Tips for Singers
So far I've enjoyed the first episodes of this podcast, and I'm excited for more. There are a lot of actionable ideas in every episode, and Ben and Jaime both have unique viewpoints and approaches that play off of each other very well. Definitely worth a listen.

Hits a Home Run on the 1st Pitch!
Now that's punny. Being very familiar with Jaime's songs, academy, writings, and on, I'm glad he and Ben started this podcast! I listen to a number of them and Episode 1 (the 2 philosophies) became an instant favorite. It's great that they're devling into subject matter that others haven't covered. Be sure to listen to those subjects for which you may feel knowledgable: the reminders, a fresh POV, ... there's bound to be something for which you weren't aware ("Too Loud", right? I bought some moving blankets the day that I listened! If that sounds odd, give a listen). Keep it up guys!

Came at Just the Right Time...
I was a member of the Vendera Vocal Academy a few years ago but had to drop out, mainly b/c my piano studio started growing. I still lead worship at my church twice a month, so I need to keep my vocal chops up, but often find it hard to stay consistent due to my busy schedule. Without the support of VVA it is very hard to stay motivated and practice consistently. Enter Jaime's new podcast! The information is extremely practical and encouraging and I can listen to it repeatedly, to remind myself of important things I often forget. One thing you'll realize from these podcasts is that Jaime and Ben really care about singers succeeding. This series is truly a labor of love that contains invaluable gems of wisdom that will help you get out of your rut and start practicing consistently. Thanks Jaime and Benny! You guys rock!

A handy and concise vocal resource
Going through the first few episodes right now and already I'm picking up little insights and good reminders of mindset and vocal health. I'm also liking the fact that it's generally 30 minutes so I can squeeze it into my schedule on most days. Great job Jaime and Ben. Keep it up it's much appreciated!

Super motivating
I am a big JV fan, got a couple of ebooks & ya just can't help but to grow & learn with his approaches. I'm not really a singer by far, but now I'm okay to show what I want to my singers I work with or even just with my biggest critic - myself! Thank you JV.

Finally a podcast I dont mind listening to
I have been learning from Jaime for a while. I am also a memeber of the Vendera Vocal Academy . Great all around person and well informed vocal coach. He not only makes learning simple but affordable. If you are not a memeber of the VVA I highly suggest you check it out. Love the idea of this podcast.

Entertaining and interesting discussions
These are two very experienced vocalists and coaches. I've read several of Jaime's books. The first set of podcasts are background info on attitude, potential and vocal care. I imagine they will get into vocal techniques in future podcasts.

I'm very excited for this!
I've been a fan of Jaime and his work with his books and his Vendera Vocal Academy website and, I can say that his past exercises have helped me strengthen my voice and to better stay in tune (an issue I had a hard time tackling when I was starting out)! Being a free podcast, I feel that Jaime is very generous with his ever growing knowledge of the voice and anyone the least bit curious about singing should definitely give it a whirl.

Great for singers

Helpful
There're some helpful facts mixed with some dubious but harmless ones. A bit of talking in circles on some topics. While I appreciate the conversational style, a more organized format would be easier to listen to. It takes some patience to get to the meaty stuff but it's there and it's helpful. Also, while it sounds like a couple of the guys have nice mics, one of them sounds really digital and kinda low-bit. Maybe some is over Skype? Are they all in the same room? It definitely sounds like one guy's mic is a little low Internet-broadcast quality. Professional audio guys like these guys could probably do better. It can be a little fatiguing on the ears but again, there's some good info so 4 stars.

So far so good
Just started listening and this is a very good podcast so far. I'll revise my rating once it has been out for a while longer. The audio quality is great and the hosts seem to be trying to provide valuable information for vocalists of all backgrounds.

My voice is better already
I've listened to the first three episodes of Sing Better Fast! and yes, I can sing better. That was fast :) The main thing for me that I wasn't doing right is breath support and vocal placement - ha - that's probably the main thing for most singers. The techniques that Jaime and Ben talk about work! The "candle," the "gas pedal" - I'm going to go so far as to call them tricks because they are so simple and work like magic :) I can hear more power in my voice by keeping these simple things in mind during warmups. There's a lot more here but these are awesome tricks to start with for sure! Thanks, Jaime and Ben!

Thanks to VVA, my singing problem is going away!
Aloha, my name is Wayne and I've been a singer/songwriter playing and teaching professionally for 20+ years. Though I really love to sing (since I was a child), I consider composing, performing, and improvising with instruments to be my forte; mainly because of chronic neck and throat tension/soreness challenges that has been inhibiting my vocal/singing development for the past 12 years or so. During that time I've tried various approaches and other singing courses but ultimately, they all left my throat more sore than when I started. The worst one happened 5 years ago when I took a private 40 minute lesson with a top Level 5 Certified SLS instructor. That one lesson left my throat feeling very sore and swollen (like the worst tight, painful burning sensation I've ever felt) for 2 1/2 months. Ouch! Needless to say I never went back. But because I do want to sing with complete ease and freedom, I've continued going onto YouTube and subscribing to a variety of coaches to get a feel for them and their approach, hoping to find a helpful solution. Six weeks ago, I discovered Jamie Vendera describing his 3-step approach to singing. In step 3, he described "aiming" the sound of the voice to the upper rear/top of the mouth and letting it resonate precisely *there* - not in the much talked about chest, head, or so called "mix voice". Wow, what a revelation! This was unique: I never heard anyone explain so simply and clearly how to sing...to me Jamie was making perfect sense! So I tried it and guess what? It immediately felt good. Placing my voice where Jamie teaches actually feels waaay better than singing any other way. I'm in! :-)

Great podcast
Jaime and Ben have a great interplay on this podcast. They start with tearing the old "wisdom" about singing and whether you have to be born with a great voice (you don't) then move on to other topics. Awesome stuff!
