Apparently by 8th grade I was saying things I would never want my own kids to say... oh boy!

The year is 1997 and I’m still boy crazy as ever. Laugh with me as I read through the things my 11 year old self wrote about elementary school crushes, dances and other silly events.

Hey there, welcome to my podcast where I’ll be reading through all the journals I’ve kept since I was 10 years old. I’m so happy you were going on this journey with me! Together we can laugh at my embarrassing moments and cry when things weren’t going well. In my 33 years I’ve lived some truly crazy moments, some of which will be scary and hard to share. I’ll be talking about all my crushes, boyfriends, underage drinking, parties, drugs, sex and alcohol. Finding Jesus, dealing with death and loss, traveling overseas as a missionary, becoming a mom before marriage, having a child with down syndrome, searching for my purpose, and everything in between! My hope with this podcast is to entertain you with the true stories of my life! As I move through each journal I will describe what the cover of the journal looked like because each cover represents part of my personality. I will share the date when it was written down but I didn’t always keep track. Names have been changed to protect the innocent. Enjoy the show friends, let’s get started!
