A Psalm of complaint and of praise. Verses 1-3 “In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed; In Your righteousness deliver me. Incline Your ear to me, rescue me quickly; Be to me a rock of strength; a stronghold to save me. Ascribe means “to attribute, impute, or assign.” “Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name.” “The voice of the LORD is powerful. The voice of the LORD is majestic.” “The LORD sits as King forever. The LORD will give strength to His people.
