If you are pregnant or a mom, this episode is for you. I recorded this as I felt the Spirit stirring in me on a drive home one day to address fear in pregnancy, and in motherhood overall. This is something that means so much to me that moms understand, that God chose YOU to be their baby's mother and that He is ultimately in control of it all. We do not need to operate out of fear of the test result, ultrasound result, birth outcomes, the future, the present, the past, any of it. I share a few ideas of how to surrender your fear, and end by praying over you and encouraging you to know that we are not called to live in fear. I pray this blesses you! The audio quality on this one is rough because I was in the car, but it's already blessed a handful of moms I've sent it to privately and I felt the Lord nudging me to share in publicly even though the audio is less than ideal. This is the story of my home birth with my 2nd biological baby after having my 1st bio baby in the hospital and then a miscarriage in between. The final birth in my 3 part birth story session! (Your provider truly makes all the difference in the way your birth is going to go, so please consider this when choosing your birth plan and place you want to birth. Hospital birth will never be like a home birth. It is not designed to be that.) I am so passionate about sharing how God made our bodies as women to birth when left alone and supported by someone who knows and trusts birth. In this episode, I share all the details of my miscarriage - from early bleeding in pregnancy to getting pregnant with my next baby post-miscarriage. I share about my decision to not have the D&C and instead work with my homebirth midwife to lower my HCG levels naturally, as well as talk about the care I was provided from the hospital during my miscarriage experience vs. the care I got from my (amazing) homebirth midwife.
