Hmmm…
I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from Silly Whales, but it certainly wasn’t what I got lol. Overall, this podcast is real and raw and I appreciate the hosts honesty in their description. The audio quality is great and the co host dynamic is solid. I still am not entirely sure what the niche is or what direction the show is headed, but it’s definitely worth a listen!

Unfiltered, Unhinged, Unapologetically Honest
Silly Whales is a raw, witty mental health podcast hosted by close friends Alex Cupid and Joe. Through candid conversations and self-aware humor, they explore the ups and downs of navigating mental illness in your mid-twenties—what they call a “mid-life crisis” a bit early. Honest, relatable, and surprisingly funny, it’s like a journal you didn’t know you needed. A great listen for anyone riding the mental health rollercoaster.

Wonderful show
Silly Whales with Joe and Alex takes a fantastic approach to talking about mental health, especially men’s mental health. The conversational style is easy to keep up with, and I look forward to listening to more episodes.

Silly podcasts?
OK so as a fellow podcaster who lives with a mental illness I was really interested in hearing this podcast but all I heard was two friends chat about their week. I did notice in one episode that they tell you to fast-forward to the middle of the episode if you wanna get to the mental health issues. If you want your audience to listen to an entire episode you’ve got a hook and bait them at the beginning . I’m going to give you five stars as your first review to kick you off as I think every podcast deserves a shot and I think you have a great concept here it just need to be a little bit more organized. Let’s get right into the mental illness at the beginning and maybe shorten some of your episodes good luck guys!

Feel less alone
Alex and Joe just dive in and speak directly about topics surrounding mental health (like death) with some banter and plenty of serious reflection. It helps there are two guys to bounce these thoughts off each other and literally demo what support looks like. They also don’t sugar coat the realities of life and so their relatability makes you feel like you’ve gained a couple new best buds.

This is very interesting. Whatever you think going into it, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the things shared with such vulnerability and also humor haha
