Stories are funny and often well posed. I always enjoy hearing what they did in their down time. And also the regular jobs they had on base. Keep it up and bring back Kris

Amazing podcast for all vets of all ages. Brings back all the GOOD memories of being in the service.

I’m only a few episodes in, but I have really enjoyed it so far. I am pursuing chaplaincy in military and have been reading all kinds of stuff over the past few years to understand the ins out of the military and its culture. That being said, it’s really hard to find written material that gives you so much insight to the reality of military life. Thankful for those that serve this country, and glad we get to hear some of their stories.

Sidearm is one of the best podcasts around! Great idea with a great host!

This podcast is just as advertised, To paraphrase / out right steal the host's (AJ's) tag line, it is a look into the daily life of the military that you don't see or hear about. The listener can feel as though they are being taken into the confidence of those who are telling their stories and the host himself.

AJ does a great job on this podcast. I just listened to all of them today and am intrigued by all of the different stories. These men have all made great sacrifices for their country and their stories deserve to be heard.

best military podcast

I love this show.

This podcast is so nostalgic… it takes me back to my childhood when I would sneak into the den and eavesdrop on my dad and his buddies telling stories over a beer(s). I was a military brat and truly enjoyed listening to my dad and his buddy’s stories…funny ones from being dumb and life changing stories. AJ has a way of interviewing these guys that makes you feel as if you are in the room. He also does a great job at “translating” military lingo to civilian. I look forward to listening to more!
