We're here to have a meaningful experience and build a better world, so let's shmooze about it! | David Goodwin, Founder of Shmoozin'

Shmoozin' #2 (Part 2) with Rabbi Dovid'l Weinberg
IN FILTH IN SHALL BE FOUND A story of surviving cancer and faith in God Shmoozin' with DOVID'L WEINBERG about how he recently overcame cancer (T Cell Lymphoma) and the affect this experience had on his relationship with God and others.  __________________________________________________________   There was a saying in medieval alchemy that went like this: "In filth shall it be found". Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961), the renowned Swiss psychiatrist, psychoanalyst and philosopher, later expounded on this rather disturbing expression to our 21st century ears, that what we most want to find in our lives will be found in the places where we least want to look.  During our shmooze, my much loved (by me and many many others), inspirational and wise friend, teacher and fellow spiritual traveller referenced this deeply profound piece of wisdom highlighting the somewhat ironic idea that in darkness we humans can discover the greatest light - something that dramatically occurred to Reb Dovid'l during his treatment of the disease.    *** SOCIAL MEDIA *** Please be awesome and SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube Channel and LIKE/FOLLOW @shmoozinpodcast on Facebook to watch, listen and learn from the fantastic and inspirational guests I am looking forward to welcoming into the studio. ___________________________________________________________   Rabbi Dovid'l Weinberg is an educator, musician and author. Shmoozin' #1 with Terence Livingston
We're off and running, the pilot shmooze from where all other shmoozes will go! Sooooo excited and filled with great anticipation about where this journey will take me, the people I will meet and shmooze with and the people who will tune in along the way. To kick things off I asked my lovely mate, fellow Brit (a Manc not a Londoner like me) and all round nice bloke Terence Livingstone to take a seat and chew things over. Like me, Tezza (or Tuvia as he's also know round these parts) is a baal teshuvah - raised as a secular Jew in Blighty and who became religious later down the line.  Cheers all!   David G
