I love these. When are you going to do more?

Superb military history podcast, that while it does take a pro-Western stanch, provides a great retelling of classic battles. The only downside is that it is far too short. Hopefully some more episodes will be coming.

First they make it difficult to find shields high and then they sabotage the sound quality. They don’t like the truth.

Thank Buck for taking the time from your busy schedule to teach us about history. I hope you could drop at least one episode a month to keep us entertained. Thank you Sir “SHIELDS HIGH!!!”

This is a podcast you can learn from. The presentation and the intellectual level is entertaining and insightful. Please more episodes.

I love the SHIELDS HIGH name, the presentation, the history, and how you clearly represent the value of civilization as opposed to barbarism. Please make this a weekly show before Christmas.

I really enjoyed the content and your cadence. Unfortunately there are only a few episodes, and the ending episode leaves us at a low point. Here are some ideas for a few more episodes: the other crusades, the Spanish, Italians, Maltese taking back their land, or even non Christian vs. Muslim content that involves midevil knight battles or the Knights Templar.

Buck!!!! Come on now your not waking up at 0300 for your morning show now, how about you work on some more shields high episodes for the fans. Lol I know your working on a book but after your done with it no more excuses brother!! Hahaha Airborne all the way Brandon

I was not sure I would enjoy this but I did. As an old soldier (10th group) I really enjoy hearing about battles long past. These first few are on point. They tell the truth about the wars of the times instead of the narrative that teaches western forces waging war on the kind and peaceful Muslims. Shields High!

I knew a bit about what Buck presented, but learned a lot more. This was so interesting I didn't want to stop listening. Buck, where's the book? It would be a keeper. Thanks much!

Bucks knowledge of history is absolutely amazing, and it’s delivered in a way that holds the listeners attention. You feel as if you are seeing the battlefield in your minds eye. With some on the left constantly trying to change history, it is of utmost importance that we know what really happened and why. Take the Crusades for example, how many of your friends know “why” that even happened? We must be armed with the truth, or our history will be changed, just like Michelle Obama said they would do. I cannot recommend this series enough, you won’t be disappointed I assure you.

I wish all of history could be presented this way. Buck does a good job of keeping away from the monotone voice that usually accompanies this type of podcast.

I have followed Buck Sexton since I first heard him on SOFREP Radio. I love his content and level of engagement he brings whenever he is on air. Shields High is a great podcast about the history of the Crusades. Buck's narration provides amazing imagry and I feel like I third person observer of history. What is great too is that this podcast is usually inbetween 30-50 minutes! I can listen to this during my daily commute to work or college. Keep up the great work Buck and shields high !

Love this pod cast. It’s a great presentation of history that I have heard in a long time.

No one, no one in the mainstream of radio or media gets me more excited about listening to a lecture on western civ then Buck Sexton. He may be the only outlet for such info. However, my connection with Buck comes from a shared childhood computer game. When Buck said he spent Friday’s playing Sid Meier’s Civilization I was hooked.

Fascinating. Entertaining. Thought-provoking. I have really enjoyed every minute of these podcasts and tried to share with many of my friends. The only reason I’m 4/5 stars is because of the way Buck delivers the message. The way he communicates on radio (off-the-cuff, comedic, playful, insightful) is different from his storytelling voice in these podcasts... he sounds a little bit more like he’s reading a book to a wide eyed audience. Buck – highly recommend you deliver these less as a fireside story and more as an analysis narrative, off-the-cuff buddy. Love both of your shows!!

Content seems interesting, but Buck needs to speak using his normal voice and not the overly dramatic story-telling voice he’s been using. Other than that, it’s great.

The the world we live in today is a reflection of history. I’m a fan of history podcasts and this is among the very best. Shields High won’t disappoint those who already know the facts and will engage those who don’t.

Buck Sexton brings life to the Cross vs Crescent story. Somehow he manages to fill in a lot of details, and gets deeply into the culture, setting, and ideology behind both sides of the conflicts without lulling the listener to sleep. In fact his story telling creates a vivid vision of wars that determined the course of our world. It is amazing how history has repeated itself with this struggle over and over again, and how similar events from the dark ages through medieval times are to our current world conflicts. Buck’s history deep dives bring perspective to our current conflict with Islamic jihad, and lay waste to the absurd concept that the acts of the US and modern western world are the sole cause of our modern day conflicts. Looking forward to the next episode! Shields High!

Passionate story telling brings the battles of good and evil to life. Sure it's history but it's anything but boring dates and names. Buck Sexton retells the historic tales in compelling and vivid ways. The podcast was over before I knew it and I was left wanting to hear another. Great work. Sheilds high indeed.

I expected an outstanding show, Buck is an excellent story teller! Enjoyed the little extra bits of information Buck put into the history deep dive, I am a trivia junky and history buff. Outstanding show, thank you Buck.

This is an epic podcast and Buck is an enthusiastic storyteller. Today, this history is more important than ever because it puts current events and policies into their proper context. But hopefully these rousing stories of battles and heroic struggles will spur listeners to explore on their own the reasons why these struggles were necessary and why Western Civilization's survival mattered then as it does now. The struggle continues.

Buck Sexton has done a wonderful job with this history podcast. Great sound effects and overall sound quality. Historically rich and entertaining. 5⭐️👍!
