Wonderful
My mom helped look for Megan. She told me and my siblings and our friends the story of Megan. It influenced my mom because she never let us sleep in the backyard not even in tents. She would tell us about Amber and Megan. Megan and Ambers story has influenced me by knowing anywhere we go there’s always a danger even if we think we are safe we always have to keep an eye over our shoulder. I feel it’s so ridiculous that we have to do that because we should have a better world than that and to be safe. But I hope Megan is well now and I hope we find Amber.

Brilliant!
Such a healing and insightful listen. So amazing to hear everyone’s story and how they all experienced it from different perspectives.
So many details had me in tears. The dogs! Teddy and Rick stories! The officers! All of it ❤️❤️

Great true crime podcast even if you're not into true crime
Usually I'm not that interested in true crime podcasts and even though this is a story I grew up very close to I wasn't sure it would break that trend. I was wrong. The interviews are what really stand out to me as they let the actual people involved be heard. It was like listening to a friend relate an serious thing they went through. It also dispelled some hearsay and anecdotal facts that I thought had happened and had not.

Captured my attention right out of the gate!
An intense and emotional story that is told so well by people who were there, including the author. It’s a must listen! Great podcast for true crime junkies.

Hits close To Home
This happened near my home and I know the families involved. Emily does such a great job in relaying the facts. She is very sensitive and respectful in interviewing Megan. I basically knew the facts but I was on the edge of my seat listening to all the parties involved. This is a very well done podcast and careful consideration was made to not sensationalize the situation.

I really wanted to love this but I can’t get past the first 10 minutes because the first interviewee has said the word “like” 20-30 times already. I can’t stick around to hear if there’s more.
