In 2008 I delivered my fourth baby – a blog I named Scary Mommy. I threw myself into the website and it grew into a community of incredible women who became my tribe and my lifeline. Almost a decade later, the site had grown out of control – millions of followers, a full staff and pressures beyond my abilities. So I made the decision to sell the company, and a few years later, to walk away entirely.
