Absolutely wonderful pod!
Great sound work, well written and performed scripts. Captures the quirky type of Sherlock in the PBS modern version.
But it is very different. Humor and delight. Am absolutely hooked.

OUTSTANDING!!
I’ve been listening to this podcast since 2023 (sophomore in high school) and have been on the edge of my seat ever since (now a freshman in college). Every week I’m blown away yet again by the production quality, humor, and level of detail that’s put into these stories. I cannot recommend this show enough to my family, friends, and honestly anyone who speaks to me. 221 Baker St has my heart. It’s a must-listen in my opinion and honestly I could go on about it forever so do yourself a favor and start Sherlock & Co.

Absolutely love this podcast, I’m utterly hooked have been listening for a while and this is such a fun twist and take on the original Sherlock adventures. And the acting and narration is so good.

So Entertaining
I love listening. The acting is so like the TV show with Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumerbach.

Best series to binge
This is the best! Great characters-voices and background sounds. Wish the episodes were longer.

Amazing for listening with family
My dad introduced me to this show with the adventure of Thor Bridge then we started over so my brother could enjoy. It took us a long time to catch up to the present but it was so worth the binge.

To dismiss this audio drama as mere entertainment would be an error of the most pedestrian variety. For those with the capacity to appreciate meticulous writing and flawless execution, listening is an absolute intellectual necessity.

An excellent adaptation!
A fantastic cast and great writing. Only one nitpick: Sherlock keeps saying “hence why” and “hence the reason” which is redundant. I wouldn’t normally point it out, but Sherlock definitely would.

Best fiction podcast
I am a prolific consumer of fiction podcasts and a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock & Co. is, hands down, my favorite fiction podcast and my favorite Holmes adaptation.

Good not Great
This used to be one of my faves but it has really taken a downturn recently. It feels more like a slice of life with too much idle chit chat and daily life interactions and not much engaging mystery. While I would generally say this is well acted the charm of all the stuttering oohs, ahs, hmms is becoming tedious. I find I am skipping ahead minutes of time to get beyond all extra patter.

Great idea. Mariana is cool. Watson is too “Nigel-ized”
These new “true crime” Holmes stories follow the original plot lines quite faithfully! So there is no real mystery for ACD fans (like me). The pleasure in listening is familiarity (“Watson, remember your service revolver”) blended with modernity (cyber robbery, social media and catfishing) This podcast has CLEVER VERISIMILITUDE. But I think it’s OVER NIGIL-ized. ie: The radio versions made Dr Watson an oaf for comic relief largely because Nigil Bruce was excellent at such portrayal. The narrator here is also oafish UNLIKE THE ACD ORIGINALS. I think it goes too far.
I LOVE MARTA! A worthy addition to the cast if not the mythology.
Also Dr Watson perpetuates the stereotype that British doctors are shallow thinkers or obstructionistic.

SUDH AN AWESOME ADAPTATION
Guys. This podcast is such a banger, the intro/outro is exactly what I want and everything brings me such a burst of dopamine. The stories are so well thought out, as well as voice acting and stuff. I fell in love at the first episode and even though I’m on season 3 it’s so awesome. It’s exactly what I need. Thank you to the creators and I will now go back to obsessing!

Amazing show!
The show is a perfect mix of mystery and comedy. Acting is superb, stories are entertaining, and the characters are so well written and played! Keep up the great work!

Keep em coming!

BEST PODCAST EVER!
I am not one to listen to podcasts as I prefer audiobooks since they tell a story. Sherlock & Co is the perfect mix of both! I also adore the stories of Sherlock and John so when I found out that this existed I just had to listen to it! I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did, the characters are portrayed just as I see them in modern day and the voice acting is top tier. Thank yo for this masterpiece!

Love the show
I absolutely love the show and listen to it over and over. The comedy, the serious moments, the voice actors are absolutely perfect and I can’t imagine anybody else for the parts BUT there is one thing I need to get off my chest from listening to Red Circle 4 or 5 times… Bull Sharks have been reported multiple times to inhabit freshwater rivers, estuaries, and lakes from at least 1916 to present in the. So a shark in a lake in New Jersey is indeed plausible.

What a hoot
This show was something that I started because my last one wrapped up and I went in thinking it would hopefully pass the time but oh ho ho was I work it’s fantastic and the acting is great the stories are well done and it makes me look like a lunatic when I’m doing plumbing in a new house and laughing whilst doing so. Great show

Oh please don’t leave us hanging….😏
I absolutely LOVE this podcast! I love how it takes a modern twist to the Sherlock classics. I listen all the time at work and recommend it all the time.
Can’t wait for the rest.

Locked in from Ohio
Started this with little hopes while on a long drive to New York for work. Always liked Sherlock stories and movies but had little hopes for a podcast. 10 seasons in I’m in it for the long run now!

Favorite audio drama
I’ve listened to all the great audio dramas — We’re Alive and The Black Tapes and Limetown — and this is the most satisfying, well-written, and audibly excellent audio drama I’ve listened to. I remember several episodes in seeing a review complaining that they’d grown bored with Sherlock and Co. I assumed it would get worse as the seasons moved along. Now that I’ve caught up (and joined the Patreon) I can say how wrong I was. The writing has only gotten better. The characters have grown in nuance and their relationships have brilliantly evolved. I am on the EDGE of my seat waiting for a certain M character to become more central in their lives. Love, love, love and highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant!
As someone who is a big mystery fan, especially Sherlock Holmes, this podcast scratched an itch I had for a podcast. Love the humor, the storytelling, the characters. Everything about this is wonderful.

Love the podcast
I am an all things Sherlock Homes person, in fact my Old English Sheepdog is aptly names Sherlock. He loves the podcast too as he thinks new friends are calling him when I have it on. This modern adaptation is clever and the voice actors are entertaining. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend 😉

Great podcast - except…
Love the podcast story lines, and the characters seem very close to the modern Sherlock TV series in voice. One caveat is that the character of Watson hem-haws around FAR too much and is more squeamish than an army doctor has any right to be. By episode 16, Watson should be more adept at podcasting and talking too. It’s irritating to hear him stumble so much with the “ums” and “uhs” and “right mates!” at this point. I don’t see his character as such a consistent bumbler. Mariana’s character is quite good: humorous and a great addition to the story. Sherlock is a genius, oc, but not nearly so socially stupid. Anyway, I like the show and want to love it. It’s worth a listen.

Great cast, great storytelling
Love the voice acting, love the stories, love the camaraderie of the characters. Honestly, things are a bit rough in the USA right now, and this is my comfort show

Great show!!
This is a fantastic modernization of Sherlock Holmes, mindful of the Cumberbatch and Freeman hit. I highly recommend it.
nospammers2010
Great Modernization
Doyle portrayed autism and asexuality in positive ways before those terms even existed, and Holmes was the only good representation I had for decades. So I’m really picky about modern adaptations. Too many writers and actors make Holmes allistic and allosexual. But this podcast is faithful to the original characters while putting them in a modern context, and it works very well. I often find myself laughing at the things Holmes says, not because he’s a clown, but because I can relate.

Found it! Loving it!
Found this podcast yesterday and have been listening nonstop!
I have not found a podcast that has drawn me in so much! The writing is incredible as our all the lovely talent from the voice actors! It truly feels like something out of a novel!
I am even able to do my hobbies while listening to this and it has been a lovely substitute to YouTube doom scrolling!
Can’t wait to see what awaits our lovely Dr and Detective on their next case!

Additionally, I will be showing my friend this since she is a HUGE Sherlock Holmes fan! Cannot wait to see her reaction!
