In the wilderness God, through the work of His Holy Spirit, is bringing us into alignment with His Will and at the same time revealing Himself in such a way that we 'see' our identity IN Him. God shifts His instructions to the Israelites in Exodus 16:22-30 that not only tested their obedience but provided the opportunity for them to be set aside to rest with God. Jodi shares that rest is not only designed for our physical bodies, but for our souls as well. She explains that our rest in Jesus IS holy because He is holy. Jodi walks through verses 4-12 of Exodus 16 and the Holy Spirit reveals how like the Israelites, when we are led into the wilderness, God will provide for us. She speaks to one of the purposes of the wilderness is to be face to face with God to get to know Him.
