Soulful and Articulate
I’ve been following Sara’s work for many many years, and I continue to be drawn to her ever evolving teachings. It’s a mirror and shows us where we can grow and how to navigate those transitions. And she continued to amaze me how she articulates things that are beginning to unfold for me but haven’t yet fully recognized… and then I see a podcast that speaks about that very topic. I highly recommend this podcast be one of your ‘go to’ podcasts on your growth journey.

Soulful & serendipitous
I came for the episode on storytelling and stayed for the soul. The interview with Cyndi Zaweski sparked something in me – I started journaling the next day to mine those “micro memories” – but it was Sara’s own Life Update episode that absolutely floored me. Her story felt like a masterclass in embodied storytelling. The thread of her 12-year-old self wove through the episode with so much grounded presence, I was hanging on every word. I’ve been studying story more intentionally lately, and this felt like a perfectly aligned template. Also… how is she a Sag Sun?! Her voice and delivery are so rooted, I was sure she was a Taurus. I found this podcast at such a serendipitous moment – just as my own family is preparing for a big move – and it’s already become a touchstone.

Ep. 210
I am a therapist with my private practice, and a lot of consultation out there is very vague. Sara gets into the nitty gritty with practical questions and measurable action steps that helped me narrow my niche in a way that other consults hadn’t. Specifically with finding the ideal client, her questions are insightful, thought provoking and provide more than just fluffy affirmation! Super helpful resource!

Wisdom and gentle grace
Sara is a wonderful interviewer, which is a skill unto itself, but she also offers lots of her own hard-wrought and care-filled insight. Beyond the excellent content, I also find value in the gentle, humane, feminine pace she brings: listening is a comfort as well as an illumination.

A beautiful dose of feminine medicine
I have been on Sara’s email list for years, ever since i devoured The Book of She. I have followed her story and have witnessed massive courage and authenticity in the way she shows up in the world, giving me (and us) permission to do the same. I was fortunate to work with her one on one with IFS and received some beautiful healing transmissions at that time. This podcast, i feel, gives us a dose of goodness—a dose of that much needed feminine medicine that helps us reorient towards our own inner Love, Truth & Beauty, whenever we get off kilter. Im deeply grateful to Sara for sharing her wisdom freely here and i love being able to tune in, relaxing and letting these precious talks wash over and through my being.

Sara gives of her own inner experiences and the practices that have supported her healing and expansion (mind, body, and sprite). She also brings on knowledgeable and soulful truth tellers that share their expertise and unique lens to see the world. Highly recommend.

Changed my life from the very beginning
I first discovered Sara Avant Stover in 2017. I read her book Power of She and it was really the spark of my healing journey. Had no idea what I was getting myself into but embracing each page and journal entry made me feel more connected to my self. I feel the same way with this podcast. Intuitively I select something to listen to while doing dishes driving or taking a walk, no matter what I select the message is always just what I need to connect back to myself. Sara Avant Stover truly has a gift and I’m grateful I get to experience it in this way.

Inspiring, Grounding, Accepting
I love Sara's podcast, especially when I need a break from the rumble and tumble of daily life. I find the episodes illuminating, gentle, and an open invitation to slow down and ponder deeper rhythms and truths. The guests, often women, seem to consistently be living from and within the integrity of their bodies. The teachings offered from these places are full of beauty and hopes for our collective healing. Highly recommend!

Required Listening for Spiritual Seekers
Sara Avant Stover is a gifted spiritual teacher and IFS therapist, and I don’t know how I would have gotten through the pandemic without her books and podcast. This podcast is like your favorite professor having office hours. Highly recommend this to anyone seeking guidance and a role model on how to live a more spiritual life.

Rich and Relatable Teaching for our Times
I look forward to listening to Sara’s podcast and teachings every time she publishes one. They are always exactly what I need to hear, and are included in my top resources that I return to regularly and share with other likeminded women in my life.

Depth
All I keep coming up with is depth. Sara is intentional. I can feel when another human has put in the nitty gritty time of inner work. Because I want to hear her thoughts, and what she picks to focus on. This podcast is uncommonly enlightening.

#KALI
I am a respecter of the Goddess! The irony of today is I randomly chose my Goddess for the Month with my card deck and KALI showed up. I am a long standing fan of Dr. Northrup, Marianne Williamson and Carolyn Myss. To think the 1st podcast I listened to Dr. Northrup Acknowledged your Journey as Kali inviting you to come with her. I was floored when she mentioned Kali. But- as a fellow Empath and truster of the divine, I know it was not an accident!💫 Your podcast is brave, necessary, timely, and in tune with the Re-awakening of the Goddess on this planet. Sending you light and positive vibes on your journey! I will support the movement by standing in the gap as one of your audience members and a Sister in the Movement.👑

Deep and meaningful teaching, in an easy and accessible format

Good and getting better
I learned about Sara Avant Stover about a year ago and was looking to drink up and learn everything about The Way of the Happy Woman. The most recent series (in summer, called Poolside Sutras) is a much better quality and much easier to listen too. The content of the entire series of the podcast is wonderful, helpful, nourishing and I can't get enough. I hope she'll do more and inspire other women who talk about feminine spirituality to post more talks because she is right, we need them! But the quality of the first two series was distractingly bad for me. I have a hard time hearing so I need clear and consistant sound. I only mention that so you are aware - especially if you start at the beginning. That's the only negative for me. Thank you Sara and The Way of the Happy Woman for these wonderful podcasts!

Beautiful, down-to-earth inspiration
Loving the poolside sutras, such a great way to remind each other of the ways we can reconnect to our inner wisdom through small steps and gentleness. If you're looking for inspiration check out the episode about cultivating a daily practice! Thank you Sara for telling it how it is & holding this space <3

The Dharma talks I've been searching for.
I really enjoy Dharma talks, but haven't found what I was looking for until Sara's podcast. She brings a needed feminine perspective, balancing typically Yang dominating spiritual views/perspective with Her wise Yin. It's loving, strong, and deeply nourishing.
What I've been searching for
Each show is a spoonful of nourishment
I experience so much beauty in this podcast - specifically in the weaving together of ideas, embodiment practices, and gentle yet active invitations to connect to self / Self / She / center. Thank you Sara and The Way of the Happy Woman Team for bringing this into being! With gratitude Ashley Aspentree

Nourishment for Weary Souls
I stumbled upon Sara's SHE Talks in the fall, and it's been one of the most incredible gifts. The interviews, topics, teachings go deep, and these talks have exposed me to much that I hadn't yet encountered in my spiritual journey & healing journey thus far. A feminine way of being, living, doing...in all aspects of life? Without realizing it, this is the precise thing I'd been deprived of (and longed for) for so long. I can hardly express the gratitude I feel for Sara & her work - it's been the sweetest guide, and it's already led me on a trajectory that I didn't know was possible before.

Wise, Beautiful, and Deeply Feminine
This is one of the few podcasts I listen to regularly, and the ONLY one whose new episodes I wait for so excitedly. Sara Avant Stover’s deeply feminine approach is unique in the world of spiritual teachers. Her podcast and books (both of which I highly recommend, too) beautifully show how the everyday world of work, parenting, and relationships is not separate from “spiritual life”—our everyday life IS where spiritual work happens, sometimes gracefully, sometimes messily. Sara’s work is both inspiring and practical. By providing advice about meditation, journaling, yoga, and much more, she shows exactly what we can do to deepen our spiritual practice in the midst of our busy days. Her approach is Buddhist-based, but so inclusive that it can really be appreciated by anyone, no matter her religious tradition. Sara shares generously of her own spiritual growth, challenges, pains, and joys; she definitely doesn’t present herself as a teacher on a pedestal, but as a sister, guide, and friend. Her work is life-changing. Plus her speaking voice is lovely—a pleasure to listen to!
