Come as you are but don't stay as you are is a very important quote that should be promoted more. It is easy to come as you are and think that you don't need to change any of your old ways, but once you know God for yourself and understand his word, you will know that it is our duty to follow in Jesus Christ's footsteps. Strive for perfection. It may not happen all at once but don't be ignorant or stubborn to the changes that are necessary. We cannot expect to be new while hanging on to the old. Let God issue in the change... Let him use you.
