Hearing things from a female perspective is fabulous!
I have been waiting for this very type of podcast! Not just from an actor but writers and directors! Where is my second season?! I am ready for my ride to continue!!

New season?
I know I would enjoy the second season as much as I enjoyed the first!

THis podcast is great
Very entertaining podcast for the horror/sci fi fans!

The ultimate nature of horror
This podcast is exactly what I’ve been looking for: so much of the horror podcast crop either treads way too lightly around cultural & political divisions, or the hosts seem like the last people I would want to drill down into horror anyway. She Kills is fantastic: keep up the good work!

Horror is always political
I am saddened to see there a lots of horror fans in the reviews who are appalled that this podcast addresses politics. Sorry to break it to y’all, but the horror genre is always political- as they’re about our social anxieties. Y’all do an amazing job of clearly making that linkage in this podcast. As a horror fan— I can’t wait for more!

Awesome Female Perspectives
I love this podcast series. Really hope they have Casandra Peterson on at some point. I mean come she’s Elvira!

Disappointed
You lost me at the Kavenough hearings..

Worth a listen, but could be better
I love this concept, and I love some of these women that came on board to discuss women in horror. However, some of these women clearly are not knowledgeable (why are they here?) when I can think of plenty of other women who actually know their stuff when it comes to horror. Editing issues as well. We don’t need a 26-yr-old journalist who clearly doesn’t know what the hell shes talking about..

A must listen for female horror fans!
This is actually my very first podcast to ever listen to (yes, I’m behind the times) and I love it! I’m a 39 year old wife and mother and I live in the suburbs and have a pretty boring life but I have been a fan of the horror genre since I was little. So much of this podcast truly resonates with me as a female horror fan. It’s amazing to hear from fellow women who “get it”. I love hearing the perspectives of the female actors, producers, writers and directors in this genre. Five stars all the way!

Women and horror? How can you not love?!
I am a lifelong fan of all things horror and love any female perspective. I am a Shudder subscriber and always watch the movies on there. This is a great addition. Thanks, ladies!

More than a typical horror podcast
Interesting intelligent and powerful conversations that put the horror into context and show you why horror is as important as it is.

She Kills - and you’ll say thank you, may I have some more, please?
Insightful. Provocative. Illuminating. Chilling. Fun. Sometimes even maddening (eg - its sometimes heavy reliance on binary-gender). But needed all the same. Great guests, great hosts, great talk - you don’t know everything about horror until you’ve caught up with She Kills.

Movies that really terrified audiences
The Exorcist and Aliens. Definitely two films from my childhood that are unforgettable. I’d love for you to interview Linda Blair, Veronica Cartwright and Sigourney Weaver. Too bad we can’t hear from the late great Karen Black. Her movies tended to make me chuckle but still fun to watch.

Yes, please.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This podcast needs to live forever, there is endless subject matter of cover and so many actresses and writers and producers I would love to hear from. This is the first time I’ve ever taken the time to write a review for a podcast and I finally bought a Shudder subscription as well. ❤️

Skip this one
I wanted to listen to a podcast about women in horror films, not about politics. Pass on this one.

Never thought I’d see a podcast like this for girls like me!
This is just so awesome. I’ve always felt like an outsider as a woman who genuinely loves all things horror. This podcast is absolutely perfect for someone like me and it makes me feel so much less alone!

Long overdue
I love this new women in horror podcast. It's great to hear about their experiences in the industry and the way culture and horror interact. And... if you're so mad about women having opinions you ought to ask yourself why that is.

For horror fans by non-horror fans
There’s some interesting anecdotes and personal observations from the participants, but so far it seems like a podcast about horror films from people with a very limited knowledge of horror, and in particular, the role of women in the genre. It comes off as dismissive, pretentious and uninformed, especially for a lifelong die-hard horror cinephile. Women have historically been the strongest characters in horror. This is not a new development. I’ll try another couple episodes to give it a fair shot, but the first two episodes didn’t impress me.

Need an audio editor?
2.5 actually. It's unfathomable to me that a podcast made by an entertainment entity that is currently skyrocketing should have audio issues as glaring as neon. Only two episodes in I realize, but this show feels like it was just thrown together last minute style, to capitalize on the current feminist uprise--and I'm a woman. And as a woman, neither of the episodes' content appealed to me. I find the throwing together of random women-in-the-biz very odd and without previous thought invested into the direction of the show. Also if I had a dollar for every time "like" was said, I wouldn't have to work. Many of them could have been edited out had the audio engineer not been out getting a Starbucks. Lastly, reducing Adrienne Barbeau to essentially a bookend host is almost an insult. If you're going to try to win listeners by having her name attached to the show, make her more a part of it. Oh, and if you need an audio editor, I'm available.

Great show, important topics
It’s very refreshing to hear some of horror’s most legendary voices talking about some important issues within the genre.

Just the podcast I was waiting for
I’m hooked! Looking forward to more episodes✌️

needs some work technically
big fan of Adrienne Barbeau and women in horror but I feel like this episode was really short and it felt weird not having an actual interview between Adrienne and the women. Not sure if other episodes are just going to have Adrienne Barbeau narrate or if she’s going to be engaging with the guests but the disconnect between the narration and the guests talking was an odd choice to me. It kind of feels like the questions are being asked as a part of another interview with Barbeau just rephrasing it for the listeners. I have high hopes to hear from the other guests and I’m hoping the format isn’t so disjointed going forward.

Can’t Wait to Listen to More
I am always in the market for new female voices talking about horror and the pilot of “She Kills” blew me away. The conversation was insightful and raw and I loved every minute of it. Keep it up! This show is doing the lord’s work.

politics
First episode is terrible. All that was talked about was fake Russia meddling and Kavanaugh. We have to listen to this nonsense daily from all this fake news media really didn’t think I would hear it here. Hopefully next episode will be better.

Wonderful female viewpoints
Being a female horror fan it’s refreshing to listen to a podcast from my viewpoint. Keep up the great work, I look forward to more episodes.

Yes women!
Been waiting for the first episode to drop and can say I wasn’t disappointed! Love this perspective and can’t wait for more episodes!

I’ll Give Ep 2 A Shot
Once the BS about the farce that was the Kavanaugh hearing came up I turned episode 1 off. I’ll give the next episode a chance, but referring to Ford as a credible witness was the most horrific thing about this horror podcast.
