The Adventures Of A New Mom!
Having Jolie as a guest on the show was a delightful experience. She embodies a sweet, well-rounded persona, navigating the details of finding happiness while living abroad. Drawing from her experiences, she shared valuable insights into the importance of family and the joys of motherhood. Jolie's magnetic personality shines through as she effortlessly shares her passions. Despite being a blogger, she cherishes her 'me time' and embraces her identity as a 'popular loner,' a testament to her genuine nature that naturally attracts others. A Day In The Life Of An Author!
Fun Fact: This episode with Hadiatou Wann was my very first SWYK virtual episode! I was a total beginner, and very nervous, but her enormous support made all the difference. Hadiatou's exceptional energy and participation have set the tone for the exciting journey ahead. This interview was a captivating exploration of her insights and experiences as an author, and a Muslim woman living in the West. The wealth of knowledge Hadiatou brought to the table genuinely moved me.Hadiatou's remarkable accomplishments are a testament to her incredible passion for her craft. Hadiatou's dedication to storytelling speaks volumes about her remarkable talent. I find her role as a great representation of African women in Islam to be both inspiring and empowering. Hadiatou's commitment to empowering women and lifting their voices truly resonated with me, and I'm sure it will resonate with you all as well. Please follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok!Please watch us on Youtube!Be sure to subscribe to this podcast to automatically receive your episodes every Friday on:Apple PodcastSpotifyGoogle PodcastAmazon MusicAnd like my kids would say, "Do not forget to Like, Comment, Subscribe, and Push that Notification button"

The Immigration Lawyer I Would Hire!
This sit down with Aissatou was more than just discussing her law career, but was all about the incredible energy we shared, and experienced in that room, I mean Aissatou is one of the most beautiful souls I have ever come across.  I have always had this belief personally, but my interaction with her made me realize even more that having a phenomenal personality is KEY to being successful at anything and everything we do in life.  Companies can train us in different fields for different job opportunities, but they can't train us on who we are from the core. Generally, we are all born with certain personality traits, and it is a blessing to be naturally gifted with an awesome personality trait. Having great people skills, and strong communication skills are some of the best qualities to have, and Aissatou possesses those skills.  I have to say that Aissatou's knowledge matches her amazing personality, and that is AWESOME!!!! Navigating life As Hijabis!!!
Nabilah and I discussed our journeys as Muslim hijabis living in the West. To some, the hijab represents a sign of oppression, to us the hijab represents courage, faith, and identity. More importantly, wearing the hijab represents our relationship with Allah. For Nabilah and myself, embracing the hijabi identity has been a journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance. We realized it's all internal too, while there are a lot of external pressures on the way, working on ourselves internally outweighs all of the external pressures we come across. Nabilah and I understand that not every hijabi gets a chance to express themselves the way they want, nor have a safe space to do so. However, one of the main goals of SWYK is to create a supportive community of like-minded individuals that fosters a sense of belonging and sisterhood. This will allow education and engagement because actively educating ourselves, and others about Islam and its teachings will break barriers, and bridge gaps by talking and building relationships with different people. Please find Nabilah on Instagram, Tiktok, and Youtube @nabilah.hetrickPlease follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok!Please watch us on Youtube!Be sure to subscribe to this podcast to automatically receive your episodes every Friday on:Apple PodcastSpotifyGoogle PodcastAmazon MusicAnd like my kids would say, "Do not forget to Like, Comment, Subscribe, and Push that Notification button"

What Do We Really Need As A Community Pt 1
An insightful Conversation with our former Guinean president from Atlanta. Our sit-down was not only a meaningful and captivating podcast episode but also showed Abdul’s unwavering dedication to community activism and the depth of his expertise, Which effortlessly guided our discussion. As a result, I'm officially recognizing Abdul as our community's advocate, which I believe is a role of immense significance. His ability to seamlessly navigate through various subjects, going beyond the prepared questions on my cue cards, was truly remarkable. The depth of our conversation was so profound that it extended beyond our scheduled time, which is a clear testament to the wealth of insights he willingly shared. To me, this embodies the true spirit of sharing knowledge “Share What You Know” and one of the best interviews so far due to his focus on driving positive change.Abdul’s insights on taking initiative and the importance of promoting life insurance, especially within the African community, deeply resonated with me. This would mark a change from the usual approach of only collecting funds after a tragedy, signifying a substantial change in perspective. This shift would be particularly relevant as we establish ourselves in the US. Abdul’s viewpoints highlighted his impressive financial expertise and the empowerment it can bring.#SWYK #Sharefam #Sharingknowledge #Muslimwomen #Podcast
