After the judgment of Micah 3, where Zion is reduced to rubble, chapter 4 opens in stark contrast with astonishing hope: the judged mountain will one day be exalted above all other mountains. God will teach the nations, judge rightly, settle disputes and remove fear forever.As born-again followers with His in-dwelling spirit, we see this vision centred on Jesus Christ, the Judge who was judged in our place. By his death and resurrection, peace with God has begun, and when he returns, Micah’s prophecy will be fully realised!
