Are you staying the f@!# home? Why not?! Danielle Mandella is staying the f@!# home.
Danielle Mandella is a comedian living with Cystic Fibrosis. Mandella routinely posts thoughtful and insightful insights about living her life with CF. Additionally, she was the recipient of a double lung over 15 years ago. Danielle was an early fan of the STAB podcast. She quickly found her way into contributing to the podcast as a guest. Several years later, when the STAB Comedy Theater opened, she helped with running the club. She eventually stepped down to take better care of her health.
I asked to Danielle to be the final guest of the "Stay the F@!# Home With…" series because I want people to hear from someone who has a compromised immune system. She recommends going to the UCSF Health website to learn more about who is at greater risk of COVID-19.
STAB Comedy Theater is also live-streaming a variety of performance, which you can see by going to www.twitch.tv/stabcomedy

Are you staying the f@!# home? Why not?! Rene Jacques and Cam Villa are staying the f@!# home.
Rene Jacques and Cam Villa are the founders of are the founders of Golden Bay Mortgage Group. Both Cam and Rene have worked in the mortgage industry since the early 2000s. I invited them to be guests on the podcast because of their knowledge and experience in the mortgage industry. Because of the uncertainty many of us are experiencing around income, I thought they would be a great resource for anyone that has questions about their mortgage or if they’re thinking of buying a home.
In addition to being business owners, both are involved in the community of Sacramento. Cam and I both live in the Colonial Heights neighborhood and became friends after meeting at a community event he started, the Colonial Heights Kickball League. Cam created the league to bring our neighborhood together, which was wildly successful for the community. Thanks for listening!

Tina Reynolds is the founder of Uptown Studios. She is such a positive and joyful person to be around. She has given me so much of her time and advice over the years. In addition to being the Chief Juggler at Uptown Studios, Tina is a community leader and public speaker. We previously spoke back in Episode 77. Thanks for listening!

Are you staying the fuck home? Why not?! Jared Konopitski is staying the fuck home.
I’m closing out this week by speaking with Jared Konopitski, one of my favorite people to chat with in the entire world. He was a guest on Episode 194. Furthermore, Konopitski’s art has been on display both locally, like the annual KVIE Art Auction, and across the globe. His art is colorful, bright, playful, and has a childlike wonder without being childish. As a result of artistic eye, his art is loved by people of all ages. Thanks for listening!

Hi. The podcast ended in October of 2019. I had every intention of that being the end of it. However, everything changed with the shelter-in-place rule. So many in our community are now struggling to find their footing in our new reality. So why am I bringing the podcast back? I’ve been asked in person and online if the show would return during this difficult time. I was hesitant to do that, largely because I wasn’t sure what the podcast could offer during this time. The podcast was always so… idiosyncratic and loose. Do we need that now? But then I thought, this podcast can serve as a way for us to check in on our community leaders, business owners, freelancers, comics, and others to get words of encouragement and see how we can all help each other. Of course, it will still be idiosyncratic and loose. So, please join me as I checking in with Sacramento during this strange time in our city.
For this episode I wanted to chat with someone working in the field of education. With that in mind, I decided to speak with previous guest Danny Reynoso. In addition to being an educator, Reynoso is a punk rock musician and performer. He is in The Moans and was in the The Secretions. Thanks for listening!

This first person I thought to chat with is Comedian Johnny Taylor . Taylor call Sacramento home but travels the nation performing comedy. He’s one of my favorite comics and in my Top 5 of people to chat with on this show and in real life. As a stand-up comic who tours, the shelter-in-place order has stopped his source of income and took away the thing he needs the most to do what he does: audiences. Thanks for listening!
