Los Angeles-based artist and producer Cynthia Bernard, known as Marine Eyes, is one half of the ambient duo Awakened Souls with her debut solo album ‘Chamomile’. Tewksbury’s new record ‘Brutes’ is just that, made up of just two expansive pieces. Interestingly, these loops were recorded on gargantuan 60-foot analog tape reels, then played through eight guitar amps at once, which were actually highly listenable.
