Intimist take on the sonic space of Antim's monastery yard in Bucharest.

Among birds nesting in the bellfry - the sounds of cars and ordinary conversations.
Candles that are melting, snuffed by a fast naughty boy.
Old wood, budged by an elderly carpenter.
“How dreadful to be a mother... or father."

Sașa-Liviu Stoianovici includes in his artistic practice diverse mediums - modified electronic devices, wood, cheese, polenta, traditional musical instruments, sound and video. His installations search for the interference points between archaic peasant objects and new technologies.
