And now for something completely different: Mile Twelve is a folk, bluegrass & Americana group based in Boston, but with roots all over the country and indeed the world. Massachusettsian guitarist Evan Murphy and New Zealand-raised banjo extraordinaire BB Bowness joined me at One Sellin' Out Plaza to discuss how their music is perceived differently from region to region, their decidedly un-Shatneresque cover of Elton John's "Rocket Man," and also roasting me for not knowing who Del McCoury is even though I claim to "like bluegrass."
