What I like best about Jon Perry’s tack as an interviewer is an innate balance between genuine, heartfelt curiosity and a total lack of pretension. He seems to truly want to know what his guests think and how they go about the business of book-writing. Each episode is worth listening to whether you’re familiar with the author or not. One of the best book podcasts going.

I don’t read as much as I should, nor would I really know where to find insightful reads beyond the various high-profile best seller lists. This podcast has given me a deeper appreciation for storytelling while broadening my horizon about the fascinating authors who share their creativity through less mainstream mediums - self publishing, social media, etc. Looking forward to making time to read the work of the fascinating guests interviewed on this show
