Diverse and relevant topics
I recently listened to the Skurka Episode 81 and have heard Skurka write and talk about the backcountry bidet but I actually heard the detail this time to understand how it’s done. Great and relevant topic. Great to hear about fabrics, pack fit, practical experience on heavy loads, and interesting guests. Seek Outside seemed to be one of the first hunting gear companies to get into innovative and cutting edge fabrics; great job! Great change up most recently in the podcast music.

Episode 80
Loved this one. I’ve been interested in SeekOutside backpacks since I first saw them on the website. The hard thing about these packs is that each of them seems to get raving reviews and are very versatile which makes it hard to choose one. This episode detailed various scenarios that the different packs would excel in. Now I just need to actually buy one of the packs. Leaning towards the Kenai.

Die hard seek outside product fan!
Love the podcast as much as the seek outsides products I use, episodes 71, 81 and 83 are my favs so far but every episode is full of info for hunters, hikers or anyone heading into the backcountry! Keep up the great work!

Great content and welcoming hosts
I really enjoy listening to the podcast. While Seek seems to be more of a backpack hunting company the content is not limited to talking about backcountry hunts. Through a wide range of guests, they have so much to talk about. It also helps that everyone is so engaged and passionate about the conversation, no matter the topic! Keep it up

New favorite!
As a new hunter with only one season under my belt, I’m always looking forward to new information. I’ve only listened to a few episodes but 32 with Kevin and Tim has been my favorite as well as 83 with Chaunce. As a former Marine of smaller stature I’ve done my fair share of heavy pack hikes and I have always struggled. Those episodes have helped me realize that hunting can be done with lighter loads and proper gear. There’s so many great tips throughout. Those thoughts and struggles have kept me from hunting for years. Not anymore! Really looking forward to catching up and hearing new ones. Invaluable information throughout! Keep up the good work guys.

A Model for other Small Businesses
The team at Seek Outside puts out incredible outdoor products. I am a proud user of one of their hot tent systems. Their podcasts are also of high quality, and I have learned a lot by listening to them. They are informative and answer questions I didn’t know I had. Other small businesses could take note and offer similar targeted podcasts at their customers, as I feel closer to the producers of my product and more acquainted with their intentions. This show doesn’t feel like an advertisement. It feels like a testament to the lifestyle and the experiences that these people are trying to enable with their products. My favorite episode is number 70 with Corey Seeman. I love to ski and have used my hot tent as a mobile backcountry chalet. He is an interesting character and I enjoyed his lively conversation.

Great podcast and gear
Seek outside makes some great gear. Love my silex tent. On top of that the podcast has been great and improved in quality over the last couple years. Some of my favorites include podcast about pack-rafting since that is a growing interest of mine and I enjoying hearing the adventure stories with gear questions mixed in. Always something to learn here from conservation and leave no trace practices to gear and adventure planning. Keep it up!

A must listen every Wednesday!
I love the easy going, laid back mentality of this podcast. It’s hard to find a company that doesn’t push their product or their opinion on you. They have great guests with varying opinions that really allow you to form opinions on anything from gear to all things outdoors. My favorite episode is the one with Zach Herold from rockslide. He did a extensive and honest backpack testing from all of the top companies. It’s what made me purchase my first week outside product!

Always innovative and knowledgeable
The Seek Outside podcast is unique. Not just the same old stories of hunting. They dive into the tech related to their products and the deeper issues surrounding backcountry hunting and conservation. Episode 82 on tent fabrics is fantastic.

Informative!
The Clay Hayes podcast is probably my all time favorite. Just listened to the fabrics podcast and was waiting for them to discuss the difference between the brown silnylon and the green sil/pu blend nylon, didn’t happen unless I missed it, what is the difference functionally? Also, would like to listen while in the car with my kids, but the language can be a bit rough and crass at times… best to listen without the kids within earshot.

Killer packs, killer podcast!
I found out about Seek Outside from my cousin when we spent a few nights in his Cimarron. Then I looked into their packs and decided I needed one. A few questions came up and Kevin helped me out through a forum and now I’m a life long fan and supporter of the company. Listening to the podcast I get to hear a bit more about the characters behind the scenes and learn a ton about the outdoor gear they produce. Keep up the great work!

Good dudes, better info
Love the back and forth with the guys. Great balance of content for hunters, backpackers and gram weenies. My favorite episodes are the technical breakdowns. I do some make your own gear projects so it is good to get opinions on fabrics and what is important in fabric choices when they are choosing. So the Tent fabric episode and new backpack fabric breakdowns were some of my favorites for my nerdy MYOG reasons.

Hunting private land in America / Doug Duren is my favorite one. Because who doesn’t need more Doug?

Love these guys.
This podcast has the most relatable cast in the outdoor/hunting podcast space. Listening t these guys really feels like you’re sitting around a campfire with a bunch of fellas who know just a little bit more than you do. Great information delivered without an ounce of self aggrandizement. My favorite episode is either episode 80: the Q&A because it’s so full of useful information, or episode 63: gun control with Ryan Busse. That episode does a really good job of articulating some really good points in regards to the firearm industry, regardless of how you feel about the second amendment. Keep up the good work guys!

Top notch
Great products, great podcast. I really enjoy the wide range of topics that they cover, most of which are backcountry hunting related. I’m a big fan of Doug Duren and thoroughly enjoyed that episode…give it a listen, you won’t be disappointed!

Bridging the divide
I’m a backpacker, not a hunter, and I think Seek Outside is doing a lot to bring hunters and outdoor recreationalists together around protecting the environment. I really enjoy the way these guys describe and appreciate nature, like the way the sunlight glints off the aspens at first light in the fall. Episode 53: Being Alone with Clay Hayes is one of my favorites, as that one episode goes in so many directions, from gear to wilderness psychology/ mindset to philosophy. Thanks!

Great Info for the Aspiring Dirtbag
The SO podcast is fantastic. Not only because of the wealth of knowledge that it provides for any outdoor pursuit, but the entertainment that comes along with it. The best episode to date, in my opinion, is Episode 73 “The Severely Abridged History of Public Lands” ft. Hal Herring. Although this episode is not very gear centric, it does cover a lot of great history about the places that we all love to use SO gear. If you’re looking to learn how to be more efficient in the mountains, look no further.
