An awesome security podcast about awesome security vulnerabilities!
These guys know how to make security vulnerability discussions interesting, mixing in a healthy dose of humor along the way. Duane Laflotte is the GOAT of red teamers, Patrick Hynds’s analogies to explain security to non-technical folk are first-class, and Carl Franklin brings decades of software development expertise and at least one dad joke per episode. What a great way to keep up with what’s going on in the world of cybersecurity!

Best of the best when it comes to security
Easy to listen to. Easy to understand. Fun to listen to. Nice bite sized stories.
Well done gentlemen.

Best of the best
I’m a weekly listener of this security podcast and I can’t recommend it enough. The hosts are insanely knowledgeable and genuinely funny. Their conversations flow so well, and the humor keeps it entertaining the whole time

Just helped Patrick and I found the Pod
New listener here! I just helped Mr. Hynds and he told me about the pod. I am going to school for cybersecurity and I am always looking to expand my knowledge. Thank you for letting me know about this Patrick

Incredibly informative and entertaining!!
I listen to a LOT of podcasts (I drive about 20+ hours a week). STW is in my rotation and is one of my favorites. Not only are the guys incredibly knowledgeable and informative but they also add an element of humor to their show.
I also think it’s on of the most frightening shows I listen to (and I have horror and true crime also in my rotation)! It’s not scary because of it being horror, it’s frightening in how much it reveals just how vulnerable our digital lives are. Protect yourself and listen to STW. You won’t be disappointed!!

Too Annoying to Continue
Tried to give this show a fair shake, because I listen to Carl’s .NET show. This show has too much mumbling and talking over each other, which is annoying, but more annoying is the hosts’ politics seeping into the discussion.

Glad I remembered this podcast!
Hilarious and informative security podcast for a out-of-the-know person such as I am. They’ve gotten me in the habit of patching and rebooting weekly as well as considering getting more interested in internet security awareness. Thanks Carl, Patrick, and Duane! Oh, I came here from DotNetRocks!
