Considered a “YouTubian Opportunist,” Samuels, Johnson says, is profiting from and dedicated to “slandering and criticizing Black women who don’t emulate Eurocentric standards of beauty and success.” For those who are unfamiliar with the latter (or both for that matter) — Kevin Samuels has risen to social media infamy for his controversial claims against Black women as a “consultant” and “dating expert.” His recent appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast furthered his viral internet stardom after he explained why he thought Saweetie’s beauty only deserved a rating of “six” on a scale of one to 10. Meanwhile, Dr. Umar Johnson—no stranger to controversies himself—has become an internet star in his own right. In 2000, she and her husband Bill Gates co-founded the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the world's largest private charitable organization as of 2015.  "After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage," the pair tweeted.  They first met in the 1980s when Melinda joined Bill's Microsoft firm.  The billionaire couple have three children and jointly run the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.  The organization has spent billions fighting causes such as infectious diseases and encouraging vaccinations in children. The Gates - along with investor Warren Buffett - are behind the Giving Pledge, which calls on billionaires to commit to giving away the majority of their wealth to good causes.   Bill Gates, 65, is the fourth wealthiest person in the world, according to Forbes, and is worth $124bn (£89bn).  He made his money through the firm he co-founded in the 1970s, Microsoft, the world's biggest software company.  The pair both posted the statement announcing their divorce on Twitter.  "Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives," it read.  "We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue our work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in the next phase of our lives.  "We ask for space and privacy for our family as we begin to navigate this new life."  Their 25-year-old daughter, Jennifer Gates, wrote on Instagram: "It's been a challenging stretch of time for our whole family. The officers applied medical treatment and Bryant was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead half an hour later. The incident is still under investigation.   Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James responded to the backlash he received after he tweeted a photo of the police officer who fatally shot Ohio teenager Ma’Khia Bryant with the caption "you're next #accountability​.”  Mr James explained why he took down the tweet. “I’m so damn tired of seeing Black people killed by police. I took the tweet down because its being used to create more hate -This isn’t about one officer. it’s about the entire system and they always use our words to create more racism. I am so desperate for more ACCOUNTABILITY,” James said Wednesday evening.  Columbus police identified the officer who fired the shots that killed the 16-year-old girl as Nicholas Reardon. During an arrest made by Chauvin and three other officers, he knelt on Floyd's neck for about nine minutes while Floyd was handcuffed, lying face down on the street calling out "I can't breathe". The next day, Chauvin was fired by the Minneapolis Police Department. He was charged with second-degree murder and lesser included offenses. The incident set off a series of protests in the Twin Cities and across the rest of the United States, later spreading around the world. Chauvin was released on bail on October 7, 2020. Conflict resolution is conceptualized as the methods and processes involved in facilitating the peaceful ending of conflict and retribution. Committed group members attempt to resolve group conflicts by actively communicating information about their conflicting motives or ideologies to the rest of group (e.g., intentions; reasons for holding certain beliefs) and by engaging in collective negotiation. Dimensions of resolution typically parallel the dimensions of conflict in the way the conflict is processed. Cognitive resolution is the way disputants understand and view the conflict, with beliefs, perspectives, understandings and attitudes. Emotional resolution is in the way disputants feel about a conflict, the emotional energy.
