Barely understand and often fail to articulate the law in question
I’m a follower of the Court, read rulings and amici briefings, and followed this show in hopes of getting an even-handed view of the subjects. You won’t find it here.
For example, in the EPA v. West Virginia, they did not even discuss the central basis for the decision, which is that the law as passed by Congress did not support the actions that the EPA was taking, until the last minute. It’s insane and misleading to evaluate the decision without focussing on this central issue, just adding it as an asterisk at the end of the show.
If the power rests in the people, as expressed through their representatives in Congress, and Congress did not pass the law, on what basis was the administrative state acting? By fiat? As a dictator? The Court exists in part as a guard against abuses of power such as this, and to not even discuss this central question, is to do a disservice to the listeners.
You’re better off reading the rulings and briefings themselves, or the syllabi.

Not really non partisan
Is seems that when a group claims to be non partisan what they really mean is they promote a far leftist agenda. Lies are the only way to promote a leftist agenda so claiming to be non partisan fits their MO.

Boring.
Left-leaning, that's okay. But, I can't concentrate. I'm just a casual listener, interested in learning, but It's too boring for me.

Definitely not non-partisan
Not bad for what it is, but definitely a very one-sided presentation of the issues. Would rate higher if they acknowledged that up front rather than purport to be nonpartisan.

Not Non-Partisan
Stop calling yourself non-Partisan. Maybe you don’t advertise a party affiliation, but just call yourself left of center or liberal minded, so people can listen with that understanding in mind.

Stop Saying Non-Partisan
Where is the episode on things like the sanctity of life, personal stories, and negative health effects of abortion? Justice Gorsuch has a concurrence on this in Hellerstedt if you’re looking for a good starting place.

They Should Listen To It Before Publishing
The February 17 episode, which I suspect was recorded on the 16th, was basically only Amy talking because the guest was so garbled and staticky you couldn’t hear her. Really need to edit or at least listen to it before putting it out because that was a valuable topic that was wasted because the guest was unintelligible.

Incredible website, not an incredible podcast
This is a good podcast for someone looking for a brief roundup of Supreme Court cases from a nonpartisan perspective. The analysis is relatively brief, though, and other Supreme Court podcasts provide more depth.

Great Supreme Court Roundup
I don't get how this podcast doesn't have better reviews. It provides a brief but detailed roundup of recent news at the Supreme Court. There's not a ton of analysis or partisanship which people might see as a plus or minus but if you're looking to catch up and learn about some cases you might have missed this is a great podcast.
