Super Enjoyable!
Descriptive vignettes with a cultural angle which make them come alive: Scottish language, places, stories about events, childhood memories, bits of history. One of my favorite podcasts. Thank you!

Love the accent and the casual real content
My grandmother emigrated to Canada from Scotland at 13 (1913). As a child I didn’t care for her accent. Now many, many years later, I relish it. I also appreciate the chats about Scottish history, culture, and the every day human notes.

Great to hear all three gals again! Helen I knit those dish cloths also. I can listen to your podcast & knit too. I remember the 1st episode and now they are up to 82. I haven’t missed one episode. So entertaining & interesting.

So helpful!
This podcast has been great to listen to after our recent tour of Scotland with Liz (via Rick Steves). What a wonderful continuation of our understanding of Scottish history!

Love this podcast!
I stumbled upon this fun, info-packed podcast while trying to find out as much as I can before my upcoming trip to Scotland. What a find! These 3 warm, witty and vastly knowledgeable Blue Badge tour guides are the best/most entertaining way to learn about ALL things related to Scotland. I particularly enjoy the Scottish “word of the day” segment in each episode where each of them shares a Scottish word or phrase. And here I thought we roughly spoke the same language. ;)

Almost as good as being there
We’ve been to Scotland once and looking forward to going back soon. They’re helping us remember stuff we’ve seen, teach us about Scotland and help us to plan our next trip. I started recent back at the beginning and I’m looking forward to listening to them all and getting caught up.

Great podcast that transports you to Scotland
These three ladies are so entertaining and extremely knowledgeable!!! These episodes are concise, but packed full of cool facts, deep rooted history, and warm discussions. The more you listen, the more you’ll be transported to Scotland! During such a dreary time in the world- Listening to this all the way in Wisconsin, USA it brings me much joy despite being many miles and oceans away. These ladies diligently match their episodes with more pictures, links and information on all social media platforms-which is super cool! Gotta listen!

Such a fun podcast!
I so enjoy listening to the ladies blether about their beloved Scotland! They’ve had a couple of Zoom meet ups with more in the making. Makes me feel like part of a friendly Scottish community whilst I’m stuck here at home.

Very enjoyable convos between friends
I’ve very much enjoyed the first few episodes of this webcast and it has made me slightly less homesick for not being able to travel there this year. Keep up the great blethers!
