This podcast is so good. Growing up I wanted to be a lawyer. Double Majored in crim & Spanish at Marquette, did an internship with DAs office ended up in domestic violence unit & worked more with police than I did law. Then did an internship in social security law office and decided if this was law it wasn’t what I wanted to do. Imagine if I had the exposure to all the different ways to be a lawyer. Thanks for giving people an inside look and hope that we can achieve our dreams!

Really appreciate the variety that this show brings to my pod library! I’ve been listening to a lot more podcasts about health, wellness, life, and careers with black female hosts, and it’s really refreshing to hear these conversations from the perspective of Black men. Tone and Larry are having very honest, unfiltered conversations about education, careers, and life that people can really benefit from and take away something meaningful. Keep doing what you’re doing guys!

This podcast brings a refreshing new perspective about what it means to be yourself and still being able to be a successful professional. It’s not just about the highlight reel, but the process of developing the movie that is their professional lives. It’s real, honest, vulnerable, and worth the listen.

I love this Pod. Gaines I remember sitting at your graduation seeing your nephews. I was so happy that they were able to see you walk... coming from where we come from most kids become what they can touch...they can reach out and touch you.. you will guys will touch people generations to come.

Love the concept here; the narrative surrounding our communities / demographics are not the full picture so this is extremely refreshing..can’t wait for the full rollout / launch!
