Laci is hilarious and unapologetically real. She herself is a vibe and carries the show. I’ve learned a lot from this podcast, and have been fully entertained the whole time.

Laci is hilarious and I typically agree with her takes. Just coming here to give an alternative look on leases and rent increases. As a former property manager and current revenue & marketing manager for a property management company, the lease is there to protect you. The most important things you need to know is where to find the rules, how much of a notice you need to give to move out, and plan to return the rental in the same condition as you found it. People be staining carpet, putting up wallpaper, breaking blinds, leaving nasty food in the fridge or full on furniture/trash and wanting their full security deposit back. It’s crazy. As far as the rent increase goes, please keep in my operational costs increase year over year. We have to pay our people more. Cost of appliances, material, vendor services have all gone up. Only way we’re going to keep the bank from taking the property is stay in the green. Don’t wait until the lease renewal comes out to report issues. They don’t live in your home and they don’t know there’s a problem. Some companies even charge you if don’t report maintenance problems because it could cause further issues that could be avoided. The reason month to month is more expensive than locking in is because it gives the landlord no way to plan marketing and forecast lease end dates on other units. We choose the lowest rates on lease terms to give new renters based on when other leases expire. When you only have a couple maintenance people, you can’t have all your leases ending at the same time and then have a month to month person move out at once. Bottom line: it’s not a scam.

I love this concept, but Laci is a frustrating host. She mispronounces legal words and misreads her notes, so you kind of feel like a sucker trying to learn anything from someone who knows less than the listener. The episode i just completed was partly about check kiting, and she called it “check kitting” throughout. Not for me.

Lacey is not only a very funny lady, she has the ability to look at scams from a broader lens. Really understanding what motivates people to commit scams and fraud considering socioeconomic backgrounds and race in a capitalist society. I love listening to her meandering thoughts about pop culture.

Haters are going to hate on a podcast that is not for them. I miss the old excited voice. The current voice sounds too calm lol

One of the few shows I listen to EVERY WEEK … always a bop, funny and fascinating.

As a black woman I’ve tried listening to this podcast multiple times over the past 2 years and each time I never make it through an episode. The host’s voice is loud, obnoxious and grating. It takes her over half an hour to get to the actual scam in the title and even then her and the guest keep interrupting each other so you can’t hear the full story.

Scam Goddess is the only podcast I listen to regularly. It always puts me in a good mood and has me laughing even on my worst days. Laci Mosley truly is a goddess!

Came over to listen to Jenny Slate and had to turn this off half way through. This woman is so unfunny. Shouting things isn’t humor. Slate and the others were the only thing making the episode listenable at all. Feel like you could feel the I Need You Guys folks sort of gritting their teeth and getting through it. Who’s listening to this kind of stuff? When we say we need fewer podcasts, we mean this one.

Once or twice in a generation we get an entertainer who captures the zeitgeist and makes us laugh our asses off about it. Lacy’s podcast is one of them.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for years and I absolutely love Laci, but what the heck happened to the actual content lately? It now feels more like an interview show, which is still entertaining, but the actual stories they now tell are really weak. So, still enjoy the show but I don’t listen to it regularly anymore. But I am super happy for all of Laci’s success—she’s incredibly talented and deserves it.

J/K, I love everything about your comedy, especially your delivery. I believe you were the first to develop an entire series that shines light on how absurd and prolific scamming is across cultures and time and you are owed a lot of credit as there are derivative podcasts popping up left and right now. There is something for everyone in the pod verse, including for the “mayonnaise is spicy” crowd; and therefore there is absolutely no need to acquiesce to demands that you “tone it down” because you’re “too urban”. That’s a poorly veiled attempt to lay the ground work for the kind of erasure / repackaging and rebranding with another aesthetic that Beyoncé’s Renaissance projects spotlight. We’re not letting it happen again in other forms of cultural production in 2026. SB. IKYKWTFITB.

I’ve been a hardcore member of the CONgregation since 2020 but lately I feel like Laci has had a lot of guests who know nothing about the pod and complain about it or act super brand new the whole time. It’s not super fun to listen to and it seems kinda stressful for her to defend her show so much. Get the good guests back!

I tried to give this show a chance, but I had to stop it 21 minutes in because they still had not gotten to the show topic. The host and her guest try to be funny and talk way too much at the top of the show. No one wants to hear you try to fill up time with nonsense. We want to hear about the show topic/title you’re promoting. Stop the yip yap and get to the point!

I do not like working out, but I’ve noticed if I listen to Laci and her guest’s banter and stories during a workout, I’m too busy laughing to be annoyed by sweat. Listening to music during a workout? Scams and fraud is NOT ever funny!!! Scam Goddess and her guests (the ones who are not scammers) have a good repartee and that’s funny. But while you’re laughing, remember people like me, 74, handicap, living on limited income female. Who lose to much. Signed loved the wrong Celebrity.

I just discovered Scam Goddess from another podcast and am delighted to be able to binge years of episodes because Laci is FUNNY and talks about the most interesting scams with equally hilarious guests! A definitely listen for anyone who is a fan of true crime and of laughing!

Just finished watching the Scam Goddess show and we need more!!
