What would you do if you bought a piece of property and slowly realized you weren't the only one living there? In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview Neil from Georgia, founder of BigfootTalk.com, who shares years of extraordinary encounters from his own property. What began as clearing land and planting fruit trees quickly turned into one of the most fascinating long-term Sasquatch experiences I've ever heard. Neil first noticed enormous game trails unlike anything he had seen before. Trees were broken, vegetation was flattened, and wildlife seemed strangely absent. Soon afterward, his fruit trees began disappearing, mysterious whistles echoed through the woods, and he heard a bizarre dual-toned vocalization unlike any known animal. The activity escalated when something struck the side of his home with such force that it shook the entire house. Experts familiar with the area suggested the creatures may have simply been letting him know that he was now living within their territory. Determined to understand what was happening, Neil began leaving apples at a gifting area while carefully preparing the ground to preserve any tracks. Before long, the apples vanished, and a massive 16-inch human-like footprint appeared in the soil. As time passed, stick structures, teepee formations, and mysterious river rocks began appearing around the gifting site. Neil believes a relationship of trust slowly developed after he accepted the gifts that were left in return. Throughout the years, Neil documented multiple visual sightings, including a muscular black figure crouched in the middle of a trail and a towering orange-colored creature peering around a massive pine tree while he smoked meat. His wife also discovered footprints exactly where one of the creatures had been standing. On this episode of Sasquatch Theory I interview Rene from California. Rene spent years working in remote timber country and one of his most unforgettable experiences began during a logging operation in the Northern Sierra mountains near Mount Lassen. According to Rene, his very first nights in camp were unlike anything he had experienced in the outdoors. He began hearing horrific screams coming from multiple directions in the forest. The sounds were extremely loud and aggressive and reminded him of heavy boards snapping in the woods. At first he tried to explain it away, but the activity continued. About a week later, Rene says something approached his window at night and released a scream so intense it terrified him. Not long after, while driving approximately 55 miles per hour on a state highway, he witnessed what he described as a massive coco-brown creature moving alongside his vehicle. According to Rene, the creature appeared to be running on all fours and somehow kept pace with the truck before striking the vehicle and causing damage. Rene believes the activity may have been connected to the disturbance created by logging operations in the area and wonders if the creature—or creatures—were reacting to changes in their environment. The encounters didn’t stop after leaving the mountains. Rene describes seeing a huge brown-black creature behind his trash cans that moved with unbelievable speed and launched away in a motion he compared to a frog jumping nearly thirty feet. He remembers the fur appearing unusual—almost like fishing line. Later, something slammed the side of his home with such force that he thought a tree had fallen onto the roof, yet there was no evidence anything had hit the house. On another occasion, he heard massive footsteps moving through his yard at night and said the sound was too heavy to compare to normal wildlife. Rene also shares strange reports involving voices in the woods that did not sound like English, repeated rock clacking that seemed organized or intentional, blocked logging roads, unexplained feelings of being watched near the Canadian border, sightings of a black figure in the timber, and even observations of an orange orb and a black triangle in the sky. His daughter later reported unusual activity around their horses, including braided manes and what sounded like a large creature snorting from the tree line while the horses responded. Maine is one of the most heavily forested states in America, with vast stretches of wilderness, countless lakes, rivers, streams, and remote locations where very few people venture. It is also a state with a long history of strange encounters, unexplained sounds, and reports of mysterious creatures in the woods. In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I sit down with Jeremy from Maine to discuss two terrifying experiences that occurred while he was spending time at a remote Boy Scout camp. The first encounter happened roughly ten years ago while Jeremy was staying alone in a cabin near a lake and stream. Around midnight, he began hearing heavy stomping and crashing sounds behind the cabin. The activity quickly escalated as whatever was outside continued moving through the area without fear. Jeremy describes hearing powerful impacts, aggressive movement, repeated wood knocks, and eventually a massive splash in the water. After spending the day enjoying the river, the group settled into their tents for the night, leaving food and supplies outside the campsite. Around midnight, Jim began hearing movement surrounding the camp. Rocks started rolling, branches were shaking, and something massive appeared to be moving directly behind his tent. At first, Jim feared it could be a bear, but the activity became increasingly unsettling. He heard what sounded like large rocks being thrown into the river, followed by huge splashes echoing through the darkness. Frozen with fear, Jim realized one of his friends was also awake hearing the exact same thing. Neither one of them wanted to leave their tents. The next morning, they discovered a large rock near the riverbank that Jim swears was not there before the encounter. Years later, Jim had another strange experience near Mogadore Reservoir in Ohio. While spending time near the lake, he noticed a dark figure moving around a brush pile. The creature appeared to be bending branches and manipulating the structure before walking over a hill and disappearing from sight. After reporting the incident to the BFRO, Jim was told there had been other reports in the same area. In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview Mathew from Michigan, who claims to have experienced ongoing Sasquatch activity for over 20 years while camping, kayaking, and exploring the deep forests and river systems of the state. Mathew describes multiple encounters with massive upright creatures in remote wilderness areas including Roscommon State Forest. One of his first sightings involved a gigantic brown Sasquatch standing beside a juvenile creature as they silently watched him from the woods. Another encounter involved a huge orangutan-colored creature crouched down near a trail with dark black hands and an incredibly muscular build. Over the years, Mathew says he has heard terrifying screams, strange growls that turned into laughter, rapid tree knocks, and what sounded like fast chatter communication deep in the forest. He believes these creatures travel river systems, follow deer populations, and use Michigan’s vast forests and waterways as natural migration corridors. During one of his most intense experiences, Mathew claims he kayaked deep into a remote area to camp overnight when he suddenly heard heavy foot stomps outside his tent. He believes three Sasquatch surrounded his camp before one of them unleashed an earth-shaking scream so powerful it temporarily froze him with fear. Mathew also discusses theories involving infrasound, clan communication, strange orbs in the woods, and even the possibility that Sasquatch may possess abilities we do not yet understand.
