Based mostly on my rendition of Anne Applebaum's book Gulag: A History (of the Soviet Camps), which won the Pulitzer Prize and was the international bestseller. Applebaum is an American journalist and a Pulitzer-prize winning historian. Oliver is the author of The Antidote: Happiness for People Who Can't Stand Positive Thinking.  I talk about the illusion of living our lives in some other section in the future where all our problems will be solved. That Nirvana, where nothing bad happens, and we get endless amount of time to focus on what we actually care about, does not exist. The present moment is all we have. And experience is all we are.
