As we start chapter 10, I share a bit of a long tangent with you guys the correct ‘gladness’ that Solomon and the Apostle Paul approves of “A wise son makes a father glad.” Then Solomon shows us the dangers of gaining riches through wickedness, and how it will not last, but hard work lasts. Got some great commentary for you guys as well, and a testimony about a conversation I had with some other believers this past weekend that bring similar thought to my conclusion I came to for verse [email protected] 10 Blue Letter Bible Hebrew manuscript:https://www.blueletterbible.org/esv/pro/10/1/t_conc_638002David Guzik’s Bible commentary through Proverbs 10:https://www.blueletterbible.org/comm/guzik_david/study-guide/proverbs/proverbs-10.cfm?a=638009Craig Keener Bible background commentary on the New Testament:https://www.christianbook.com/bible-background-commentary-testament-second-edition/craig-keener/9780830824786/pd/824786?en=bing-pla&event=SHOP&kw=academic-40-60%7C824786&p=1179517&p=1234080&dv=c&cb_src=google&cb_typ=shopping&cb_cmp=590197337&cb_adg=1232553569686167&cb_kyw=&snav=GMERCH&msclkid=7c1da4830e911b40fc53cd3f7fc792bd&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=B_Shopping%20Other%20-%20Top%20Products&utm_term=4580634181561190&utm_content=Other%20top%20productsDerek Kidner commentaries:https://www.ivpress.com/kidner-classic-commentariesDerek Kidner’s other books:https://www.thriftbooks.com/a/derek-kidner/223245/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=high_vol_frontlist_standard_shopping_customer_acquisition_20982170636&utm_adgroup=&utm_term=&utm_content=816182889281&gad_source=2&gad_campaignid=20982170636&gclid=CjwKCAjw9szSBhBNEiwAC57Sq3Ts9e1M3jPyO3IK_EfDNCcBumXyZ7fCRW5hIoEnreXLhcR8Eell-BoCS-oQAvD_BwEFor a John MacArthur study Bible, just a simple search up!Abraham Cohen commentaries:https://bestcommentaries.com/author/abraham-cohen/Bible portal site:https://www.bibleportal.com/commentariesNET on hand Bible:https://www.christianbook.com/net-bible-full-notes-edition-hardcover/9781400337118/pd/337117?en=bing-pla&event=SHOP&kw=bibles-20-40%7C337117&p=1179517&p=1229900&dv=c&cb_src=google&cb_typ=shopping&cb_cmp=590402082&cb_adg=1227056276829938&cb_kyw=&msclkid=758e94ca6fb9175bd9b2fee148e01d59&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=B_Shopping%3A%20Bibles%2FStudy%20Bibles&utm_term=4580290581727620&utm_content=s-NETNET Bible online:https://netbible.org/reader#

No episode this week, give you guys an update about what my life has been like the last couple weeks; don’t worry about me :) the Lord has continued to do a lot of heart work in me, and my schedule the last couple weeks has just been a little bit crazy. I got a face wax yesterday, and it got better later in the day but I didn't want to irritate it at all by taking more lol . Love you guys :)

As we close chapter 9 Solomon turns another rock looking at the cleverness of “woman folly” who teaches others but it not actually leading them to truth, so how do we try and learn the truth about different matters? I try my best to explain that to you guys. I go on another rant again of the cheap discipleship I hear believers say to Christian singles “Just be content” due to what we read here today. If you are a believer and you are being told that, please practice discernment on what you are being told, it’s aggravating to say the least when I hear [email protected] 9 Blue Letter Bible Hebrew manuscript:https://www.blueletterbible.org/esv/pro/9/1/s_637001David Guzik’s Bible commentary on Proverbs 9:https://www.blueletterbible.org/comm/guzik_david/study-guide/proverbs/proverbs-9.cfmBible Portal website:https://www.bibleportal.com/commentariesDerek Kidner commentaries:kidner-classic-commentariesAbraham Cohen commentaries:https://bestcommentaries.com/author/abraham-cohen/

In chapter 9 Solomon starts to turn the corner giving us wisdom, to listen to wisdom, leave the company of fools and the simple, and not correct scoffers. Wisdom is displayed in these 4 verses as not just simply copying others good knowledge, but doing so with discernment, and deeper intentionality. I also share some thoughts on the fear of The Lord and a incredible testimony of how this book really had a huge positive effect on me years [email protected] 9 Blue Letter Bible Hebrew manuscript:https://www.blueletterbible.org/esv/pro/9/1/s_637001David Guziks Bible commentary through Proverbs 9:https://www.blueletterbible.org/comm/guzik_david/study-guide/proverbs/proverbs-9.cfm?a=637001Bible portal site:https://www.bibleportal.com/commentariesDerek Kidner commentaries:https://www.ivpress.com/kidner-classic-commentaries

In verses 1-5 wisdom shows the "completeness " of her work through using symbolic language; "7 pillars" and great foods and wine at their best. Commentators like Abraham Cohen a jewish Rabbi and Micheal Edward Zerr, as well as others give us insight on how to understand these verses. As we finish a long study of Proverbs chapter 8, we start off in verse 22 trying to detangle the heretical arguments some have brought forward by saying according to the Septuagint with verse 22, Christ was a created being. I share some commentary by Derek Kidner and my own critical thoughts as to why this is not true. Some really incredible insight from the NET Bible as well near the end of todays study. In part 2 through Proverb 8, wisdom is continuing to make her case that no matter who you are, those of high social status or not, heeding her words are important, just like wise Elihu, oh young wise Elihu among a bunch of older men, said “Wisdom does not [always] come with age.” (Job 32:8-9 AMP) Verse 17 “I love those who love me” uh what? God I thought you loved everyone, lets break that verse down and love God with all our minds by being critical thinkers (Matthew 22:37)** No episode next week guys, if God wills, [email protected] 8 Blue Letter Bible Hebrew manuscript:https://www.blueletterbible.org/esv/pro/8/6/s_636006David Guzik’s commentary on Proverbs 8:https://www.blueletterbible.org/comm/guzik_david/study-guide/proverbs/proverbs-8.cfm?a=636006Bible Portal site:https://www.bibleportal.com/commentariesEdward Michael Zerr complete commentary:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09M7QW9CP?binding=paperback&ref=dbs_m_mng_rwt_sft_tpbk_tkinAbraham Cohen commentaries:https://bestcommentaries.com/author/abraham-cohen/Derek Kidner commentaries:kidner-classic-commentaries
