Excellent podcast that bridges the gap with music and sampling and artists. It’s a pleasure to listen to and discover. The only concern I have is that the episodes aren’t long enough and there isn’t enough of them!! I binge listened to all already! Great job Angelo, keep it going please.

I am a huge music lover and hearing the history of how so many different artists used the same samples from classics is truly incredible. To understand the history of music makes me appreciate the art even more and the very foundations that started it all. Angelo is extremely articulate and concise about the information presented. On top of all that, he has an incredibly soothing voice. Huge fan, keep up the great work Angelo. I’m looking forward to see/hear what else you create!

I’d hardly describe myself as a musical person, and I absolutely love this show. Angelo is a fantastic narrator and shares completely unique stories I’ve never encountered anywhere else. The integration of the music being discussed throughout the show makes this a really high quality form of educational entertainment. Can’t wait for season 2 to drop!

Not even a huge music buff but this definitely drew me in! Seamlessly combines the story of music I hear every day and don’t think much about the roots of and gives a taste of their sample histories.

Season 1 had me on the edge of my seat for all 10 episodes. Can’t wait for season 2. Incredible stories about the biggest songs of the 20th and 21st century that more people need to know about! Listen to this podcast!!

What a brilliant take on music history. This podcast is a super smart look at how some of your favorite hits were made and I love it. Angelo has the combined wisdom of a 70’s era Rock and Roll DJ, a used records store clerk, an A&R Executive and Fab 5 Freddy rolled into one, with the youthful (I know my s*it) delivery of the weird kid next door and it’s AWESOME! Great podcast! Keep it up!

With a great balance of musical gentes, this show has something for everyone. The stories discussed are important to our understanding of music history and Angelo is doing a great job explaining them in an easy to understand way. Can’t recommend this enough.
