REP - Episode 32 - We Must Do Better
I postponed my "ask me anything" episode to talk about what's been going on in my head recently after the murder of George Floyd. In this episode I read a Facebook post I made about the George Floyd murder and Black Lives Matter recently as well as elaborating more on it. I also talk about police, protesting, rioting, looting, George Floyd being labeled a "career criminal" by someone, and I offer a challenge for anyone defending a specific perspective in a video I saw on Instagram. I have the audio for that in this episode for you to hear. I've seen several links for donations and such to help the black community, protesters, victims of police brutality, etc., but I unfortunately haven't saved those links. If you have any suggestions for specific links to share, please send me a message to add in here. BLACK LIVES MATTER Thank you for listening and be safe out there!

REP - Episode 30 - What's Happening?
In today's short episode, I talk a bit about mindfulness and the concept of an inner tree trunk. (I'd like to further expound on this in the future, but I need to get it a little more fine-tuned since it was off-the-cuff) I also briefly talk about the evolution of a thought becoming an action with a ripple effect in time. I close with a mediocre optimus prime impression. I know, what a weird addition here, hahaha :) I think my take away from this episode is a statement I made in the podcast - “I’m trying to push everyone, myself included, to try and exercise curiosity over stress and anger in unpleasant situations” As always, thanks for listening and for the support!

REP - Episode 29 - Covid convos
In this episode I offer up a summary of two helpful things I’ve watched/listened to in the past couple of days regarding the covid virus. I go over a video I saw of Dr. David Price of New York, then I go over a conversation with Peter Attila and Michael Osterholm that was release on Peter’s podcast, “The Drive”. See the below links for the videos and podcasts. As I state at the end of this podcast, do yourself and everyone else a favor and make sure you are doing your own research and forming your opinions based on what experts and people experiencing this firsthand are saying. Don’t just depend on 10-20 minutes of “news”. Spend hours listening and reading things in full context. You’ll likely feel much more comforted and safe by knowing more. REP - Episode 28 - The Virus
In this episode I talk to myself. Me and I discuss the current state of affairs with the COVID-19 virus and everything that's going on right now as of 6pm on March 23rd, 2020, which is crazy. Sprinkled with a little bit of politics here and there, you'll surely find things to agree and disagree with. Please be safe and be respectful out there! I mentioned a podcast with Dax Shephard and Sanjay Gupta, which you can find here - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/armchair-expert-with-dax-shepard/id1345682353?i=1000469211599 I recommended a podcast by Sam Harris towards the end, which you can find here - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/making-sense-with-sam-harris/id733163012?i=1000469004371 Share/like/subscribe/comment/etc. 🙏🏼💚🙏🏼💚

REP - Episode 27 - Graham Laird
Since things are currently weird with the coronavirus stuff, I have to say that this was recorded a week prior to today's release, so there are already a couple of dated statements around the virus, but everything else is good to go! REP - Episode 25 - Ron White and Micah Malone
Today's episode features Ron White (the black belt in memory), along with returning guest, Micah Malone. Look for links to their work and pages down below. I’m trying to be a little bit more specific with these descriptions so they can almost be used as an actual timeline of the episode, so check it out! We talked about some of Ron’s memory accomplishments and competitions, the memory palace, he demonstrated his method by memorizing (25) 2-digit numbers in approximately 1 and a half minutes, recited it forward and further explained his method, then recited it backwards and explained more. Ron told us the origin of the mind palace, Micah and Ron talk Jiu Jitsu, we briefly talked anxiety, stepping up and being yourself instead of worrying what people think about you, intermittent fasting, Ron’s way into the navy, how Ron got into the memory practice, Ron’s Afghan wall project, Rambo, money, war, talent and skill, virtual based mind palace vs physical based mind palace, how Ron got into Jiu Jitsu, Micah talked a little about tattooing, I asked Ron about depression, we talked more about anxiety, Micah in catholic school, one second answer to a one second question, meditation, stretching, and Ron closes the episode by reciting the (25) 2-digit numbers again...... How did he do?? You’ll have to listen!! Anyway, check out Ron’s websites and what he has to offer in the links down below!
