Today I’m joined by Adam Spencer! Adam runs for the University of Wisconsin where he specializes in the 1500, which he has a personal best of 3:31 in. Last year he finished 3rd in the 1500 at NCAA outdoor nationals and at the world championships when representing Australia, he made it all the way to the semis before getting eliminated. In this conversation we discuss his least favorite class at Wisconsin, the ups and downs of his cross country season, his breakout race in the London Diamond league last year and more.

Paul Stafford on his time in the NCAA, his passion for coaching, off season training advice and more
Today I’m joined by Paul Stafford! Paul is a very accomplished runner having run for Florida state University and after his graduation he transferred to The University of Colorado in the fall to further his academic and running pursuits. He earned All-American honors in 2019 cross country and has a personal best of 23:20 in the cross country 8k (5 miles). One thing that Paul is passionate about is coaching and helping people get better in the sport of running. He’s launching his new coaching agency called Blue Collar Endurance Training soon which we discuss in this episode. We also take a deep dive into his time in the NCAA, his training philosophy’s, advice for the off-season and more.

Will just recently became a coach at Florida after coaching the Alabama woman’s team for five years. Over the years Will has coached many runners to first team all Americans, NCAA qualifiers, SEC medals and NCAA championship medals. Today on the podcast I’m joined by the one and only Cade Flatt! Cade is currently a freshman at the university of Mississippi and already has quite the resume. While in highschool he became the 2nd fastest 800 meter runner on the high school all time list by running 1:46.48 coming just .03 off of the national record of 1.46.45! Cade also won new balance nationals for indoor and outdoor last year, and even competed in the USATF championships in Eugene Oregon. Cade recently ran the Millrose games and had a bit of a disappointing race due to an ankle injury prior to the race but Cade still came on the podcast and made no excuses and was very transparent and honest about his race and I think that says a lot about his character so I hope you enjoy listening to the episode as much as I did making it!
