The topics have ranged from the math behind slot machines and the Monty Hall problem, to the misconceptions around butter, gluten, and tons of other topics. The hosts have fantastic chemistry. There’s ten years worth of episodes to go through, so changes are you’ll find a topic that interests you.

The hosts convey half baked , erroneous information out of context.

I ran into Greg on Reddit and after listening to just a couple of their podcasts today I’m hooked. These guys have such a great chemistry and loving it so far. Keep up the awesome work guys! Sent your pod to a few friends and they are checking it out in the morning. You guys have the kind of chemistry that makes it fun to listen to and feels like I know you all lol.

One of my favorite podcasts! These guys are both informative and funny. Don’t mind the anti-vaxxers comments and reviews. They just don’t like that the podcast episode about the COVID vaccine was one of their most important (and best) podcasts to date.

Cool concept & decent delivery but it bums me out so hard that they bleep their swearing. I know its a small thing but its like a thorn in my brain that I cant get past. Im an educated lady that loves a good F bomb but if you want to make a family friendly show just dont swear in the first place. Yeah. 2 stars is harsh but you guys made a bad call & I am holding you accountable.

You guys are my new favorite podcast when I need to pull my head out of news and politics. Love to get the laughs while learning.

Love this show. Ryan is funny and seems to be pretty intelligent. Gregory seems chill and very humble. But also he seems to know his stuff. Joshua... he doesn’t seem to know much about anything. Except movies. I absolutely love when he acts like he knows what he is talking about and Ryan or Greg just hang him out to dry and do not bail him out. I think they’re aware their cohost is super average!

I’ve never written a review for a podcast before, but this podcast deserves all the praise it gets! 12/10 would recommend!

I love shows like this. I cant stop learning stuff. And each host has there own special something to bring to the table. The banter is really on par. I would put this right under QI as my second favorite informative show thats also really really funny.

Straight from NOLA, the guys behind Rumor Flies know their stuff! They put hours of research into each episode illuminating a different urban legend or mysterious event. You will be entertained, you will be shocked, and you will learn a lot. Highly recommended.

I've been frustrated with news as of late, trying to remind the people around me in life to check their sources for crazy stories. This show does everything I'm frustrated with doing in a slick hour format! ...Now to convince my FB friends to listen to it...

It's hard to listen to this and not be interested in what the hosts are saying. Whether the info is true or not, I like that it helps you realize that you're interested in things you didn't know you were interested in.

Ive just started this pod cast and haven't laughed so much in forever. The episode about survival, rumors about drinking urine, snake bites, eating cactus etc but the best was what to do in case of bear attack. These guys are just hilarious, playing off of each other perfectly. Looking forward to many hearty laughs. And actually learning something to boot.

These guys are awesome. The premise is easy to do poorly but they really do the research and do the topics justice.

I am sorry but I just cannot get into this podcast. Seems like allot of their information is not very well researched. They tend to talk over each other to no real progress in the storyline. They do think that they are hilarious and ten to laugh at every wise crack that interrupts the dialog. I am referring to long and expansive laughter similar to a laugh track in a bad TV sitcom. The Bleeping profanity is also a bit on the overkill side. They swear like a bunch of grade school playground boys in which they just learned how to cuss and think it is cool to use it in every sentence. I had to stop listening when the conversation degraded to the "Bleep you!" "No Bleep you!" "Your Bleeping crazy!" "Bleep off!" "You Bleep off!" see, it is not even fun to read. A well placed swear word is many times a perfect comedic relief and at times they stumble on one. But then they break out in an out roar of laughter that kills the whole story. Guys, good comedians do not laugh at their own jokes. I listen to enough podcast to know that almost everyone starts out rough but does improve over time. To me that is much of the enjoyment when following a good podcast. Rumor Files just does not seem to evolve very fast in their production skills. I will check back on this every few months in hopes that it will Bleeping improve. I so much wanted this one to work.

These guys are awesome! They talk about interesting topics and discuss them in a manner that is a perfect mix of scientific and accurate as well as entertaining and easy to understand. It's obvious they have fun doing the podcast, which makes it that much more fun for listeners. I recommend their podcast to as many of my friends as possible.

This podcast is honestly speaks to my hypercritical Virgo soul. There's nothing I could muse about that hasn't already been described by the previous reviewers, but I just had to show my support for the guys. A great conversational approach to a fun genre. We need more logic and reason in place of myth and consipiracy.

(Not so) cheeky d-bags. Trying so hard to sound like some new age intellects but fall flat on your face. Part of the new "de-bunker" movement that can't help but wear their bias on their sleeve. I could stomach a "liberal" podcast that was funny and well researched, which is what the other reviews lead me to believe it would be but I should have known better. At least they don't have British accents.

Really high quality production, well-researched, and most importantly--entertaining! These guys are fighting the good fight, spreading truth in an age of sensationalized media and click-bait. Keep it up!

This is always an entertaining and informative podcast. You can really feel the chemistry between the cast.

If you've ever found yourself either hearing or (heavens forbid) delivering a "well known" nugget of medical advice, scientific fact, or historical tidbit, odds are neither of you have listened to Rumor Flies. These guys take all of the classic "friend of a friend" anecdotes head on, discussing where they came from, whether or not they're REMOTELY plausible (spoiler alert: usually not), and musing on why they still manage to get passed on. The overall feel of the show strikes a great balance: it's relaxed without being packed with the cluttered conversations and awkward silences that plague too many podcasts, and it's informative without droning the listener into a mid-episode snooze. The chemistry between hosts maintains an amusing, lighthearted feel throughout each episode. It also has a solid production quality (It's a quirk of mine, but if a podcast sounds like it's being recorded on an iPhone placed in the middle of a bathroom stall, I tune out QUICKLY). For anyone interested in discovering new music, the episodes are endcapped with a musical guest (of whom permission is asked first. Good form, RF!). Give these guys a listen. You won't be disappointed.
