I love this podcast! I think that I have binged it at least 5 times now! Chatter and Lore episodes are hysterical and the spelling-B episode was the best!!! I’d love to see another Plague Clown series though... Keep up the good work!!

Between the script and the voice actors themselves, I’ve spent many a time giggling at my desk whilst listening to Rude Alchemy. Super bummed I didn’t discover this podcast earlier, but super stoked fate eventually crossed our paths.

The narrator is “an eccentric middle aged actor with a chequered past, spends more time dealing with his problems off” script than performing it! Needs to be on the suggestion list for all radio drama podcast fans! Well done!

Funny and British

This series is that great mixture of today's comedy with the old time feel. For anyone who may enjoy the show Psych would also enjoy these clever tales.

Silly podcast with some interesting stories and fun humor. Very witty and random sometimes but I really enjoyed this podcast. The narrator and announcer are hilarious. Keep it up guys.

I've been listening to old time radio shows since I was a kid(I'm 44), and these stories are some of the best written and acted I've ever heard. I even really enjoy their banter during the non story episodes. Some of the best voices in the business.

I've been listening to and loving audio dramas, radio shows, serial narratives, whatever you want to call them, since the 1970s, and feel like Rude Alchemy has cracked the nut on why I love this medium! They are a hilarious troupe, great storytellers, superb and seriously talented performers, who deliver incredibly well-timed comedy. I am so looking forward to hearing more from them! In an alternative universe where they use blimps insted of planes,there is this audiodrama. Entertaing and funny.Full cast audidrama which is professionally done (hard to believe when listening to their periodic group discussions in between episodes [just kidding guys]).

Great show! The satire and Lovecraftian themes totally sell me on this show. The quality of the voice actors is reproach! Consistently different stories presented by a familiar narrator gives your spice and variety in a familiar package! This is a great show to try!

Listening is like playing "Cards Against Humanity" for the first time and understanding how twisted your friends and you truely are!

I can not stop listening. I literally have my headphones glued to my ears. My family thinks I'm crazy cause I erupt into laughter. The stories and characters are all great and not to mention the narrator is amazing. I would love to have him narrate my life. The stories told in serial-narrative style are original and capture the imagination, while remaining light-hearted with plenty of humor both witty and low-brow. The variety of storylines is excellent, and the writers do an excellent job of keeping the story interesting with a small cast of voices. In comparison with some of the huge-casted epic serials available, Rude Alchemy feels cozy and intimate, like a few friends around a dinner table. The smaller-scale tales allow greater exploration into the characters, whose tales always seem to end too soon, keeping listeners hungry for more! Great storytelling; hopefully this podcast stays around a long time.

The narrator's voice is a beautiful piece of artisan craftsmanship, and I listen to his voice every night as I drift off into my dreams to meet him, to dance off into the lands that he has revealed to me.

So, so good. Deliciously distasteful and gloriously irreverent. One of the best podcasts out there.

This is an embarrassment to listen to to. Cringeworthy. If you cannot pull off an affectation--don't. You may not be, but this sounded racist. Which is not much better.

love these guys.. I was brought here by the skald podcast, aubrey recommended it and I.... LOVE IT! these 4 dingle barries bring together some really reat stories, I'm wrapping up season 2, and I am glad I've started listening to them.... I'm hoping #narratorsays is something that comes back, as I am catching on way beyond that hash tag haha. Kudo's fella's, Kudo's.... am I spelling that wrong? Is there an apostrophy? It was a bit of a happy accident that I found Rude Alchemy...it followed me on Twitter. Go figure. So I followed it back and here I am, hip deep in the Bone Detective. This podcast is a rollicking ride and I'm loving it.

I'm only on episode No. 1, but I had to stop and recommend this to anyone who enjoys well-produced, scripted comedy.

The writing is great! Very smart and well done. The performances are just as solid. If you like story based podcasts, this is for you!

The production value on this show alone warrants 5 stars. Seamless weaving of mood-setting music make this a delight to listen to. I love the spooky tone and story-telling. The comedy breaks up the flow for me in a way that feels slightly too intrusive, but I'll definitely stick with it until I finish the series I started.

As a fan of Welcome to the Nightvale, this show is right up my alley. It's a combination of well written storytelling paired with some amazing production. Honestly one of my new favorite shows.

This show has really nice production (from a boring technical standpoint) - but is also fun to listen to. The voice overs are great - as is the back and forth banter. Nice work!

So the audio quality is all over the place.. from an amazing intro... then a brief intro from a host. Then another intro - then the 4 hosts introduce themselves. I feel like it was 2 minutes before the actual show started. My problem came from the quality of the different mics. One or two of the mics were hotter, some sounded like they were in another room, etc. It just was a bit off putting - especially if you guys are doing another show - creating an online story... Other than that - you guys seemed to be having a good time, which is important - the energy was good... And it seems like you put a lot of work into this...

I'm pretty new to radio theater style podcasts, but I'm happy that I found this one to start enjoying. You need to listen pretty closely to catch all the cleverness and jokes. It's very obvious that the creators of this podcast are having as much fun making it as we are listening to it! Great job!

I often listen to podcast to and from work and in most cases they are forgettable. After listening to this broadcast I was very amused and entertained, could not wait until the next episode. Keep the coming.

Rude Alchemy is creative, fun, silly, intelligent and.....a little naughty & slightly rude. Start at the beginning to follow the sleuthing adventures Carver Cranebottom.

Very clever. Intriguing story line. I've been listening to each episode twice or more because every time I do I hear something else that makes me laugh that I missed the first time. I also find myself repeating a few one-liners that I find funny. I love all the different character performances, the voices are really good.

Do you like things that are well written? Do you like fantastic voice acting? Do you like to laugh until your sides hurt? Do you like stories that make your skin crawl? Do you like the word bum-tickling? Rude Alchemy has all of these things. A throwback to the age of serial storytelling, these gentleman (and the occassional lady) put together a thrilling tale that brings in the clever, often dry, comedy of Monty Python, the brilliant deductive powers of Sherlock Holmes, and the chilling horror of H.P. Lovecraft. Whether you appreciate well told stories, humor, or horror, you'll want to listen to this podcast.

This was freakin fantastic. I'm always looking for a new podcast and so I came across this in the New & Noteworthy section. After reading the reviews I had to check it out for myself. I listened to all three episodes in a row and immediately subscribed. I can't wait for the next episode! If you like quick wit, high production value, great acting, and overall fun but also with an intriguing story that keeps you engaged, then check this out!

This is a stupendous storytelling effort. Somehow classic and innovative at the same time. I listened to the initial three episodes in one day. And then I listened to them again. I promise, if you give Rude Alchemy a chance, it will take you somewhere special.

I can’t believe how smart this writing is while also being ridiculously silly. My fiancé and I are CRYING with laughter listening to it after dinner. I love that we aren’t glued to our TV set feeling like a couple of zombies after a long day. There’s something intellectually stimulating about radio entertainment! It’s like using the imagination you have when you read a good book with the character voices being WAY better than you could have ever done them in your head; best of both worlds!! We wish there was an episode every night to listen to. I’m so impressed with the production quality, the acting, and the MUSIC!!! So good. I love the old school vibe. The pacing, wit and illicit illiteration alone are ample reward for listening. The fact that it is well scored, hilarious, and possesses a wide breadth of characters for you to discover and acquaint yourself with makes spending time with Carver Cranebottom wholly worthwhile. A triumph.

I love radio always have always will and I am glad more podcast are developing this format and making audio dramas/whatever pods. I can never get enough of these deal and I am really excite about this show. Very engaging, a lot of fourth wall bending, great Brit wit, just LOL fun to be had , and just a great listen.
