… and I liked it! It’s like two parts and I was like whaaaaat but honestly, creative, well acted and good production.

Found this one after running out of shows to listen too and to my great surprise, it is awesome. Great story line and production. Well worth the binge!

The first half of the show is great. Suspenseful, engaging, every episode leaves you puzzling over what happened and what might happen. Then it’s like another person wrote the second half. It suddenly becomes a sci-fi podcast about supernatural powers and being possessed and secret cults and some sort of alien creatures. The plot basically stops making sense and at the end they leave so many questions from the first half unanswered. It feels like maybe they hadn’t mapped out the whole show when they started making it and then just didn’t know what to do at the end? It was so disappointing

Best fiction podcast I’ve ever listened to. And I’ve listened to A LOT. Sound quality, well written, perfect voice acting. Does not miss a beat in all the areas. THANK YOU

I'm writing this at 2 am after listening the finale and listening to the podcast over the course of two days. I listen to *a lot* of fiction podcasts. I came across this one by chance on Reddit. The sound design of this podcast is one of the best I ever heard. The featured music is allll going in my library too. As someone with anxiety disorders, it's meaningful to me to see genuine characters and personalities who go through similar experiences. At first, I wasn't sure about the show, but over time, I could see there was so much dedication out into it.... I couldn't let it go. Listening to this reminded me of the brief times I watched episodes of Pretty Little Liars with my older sister as a kid, or watching Mr. Robot. I loved finding out that this is a podcast by a POC, WE NEED MORE OF THAT IN THE PODCAST SPACE, and I really wish Aaron the best of health. I hope more people will support this show on Patreon or help get the word out. It would make me so happy to hear that the Rose Drive story continues. Take care everyone at Phantom Ape.

The majority of this podcast was great. Really drew me in. Then near the end it just went somewhere that lost my interest. It wasn’t bad by any means just not for me. Was still worth listening to even if I didn’t like the end as much as the rest.

I’ve been listening to podcasts non-stop lately and love this show. The dramatic storytelling reminded me of IN ANOTHER ROOM, which I’ve listened to like three times, but this was a close second. Recommend!

Love it-esp Greg/Sage, but where is season 2?

I binge listened to this show on a road trip to Colorado and back. I’m obsessed with it! Great job and can’t wait for more!

Whole the acting is quite good, this just goes on and on and on. I’m 8 episodes in and there’s nothing happening but some weird dude trying to find another dude.

What started out as a decent mystery jumped the shark to a strange, hard to follow nonsensical story.

This is an incredible podcast. The story and acting is amazing, but the production quality is just superb. They need to make more!!!

*Spoiler Alert* This podcast initially presents itself as kind of a small town mystery/horror. And I reeeaally wish it would have stayed that way. But instead, the last few episodes take a HARD left turn into futuristic sci-fi, which felt very out of place with the rest of the story. It’s as if the writer just felt like creating an entirely new show. Suddenly, the characters and scenes resemble outlandish things you might see in a Star Trek film. It’s unfortunate, because up until that point, I really enjoyed Rose Drive for what it was. And I respect that they put a lot of effort into the finale. But with the direction that it took, I’m afraid I won’t be revisiting for season 2.

BEST PODCAST EVER. PERIOD. I just finished it annnd I’m staring it over to listen again because it’s THAT GOOD!!! I sure hope there’s a season 2 coming in the VERY near future because I need more!

How have I just now found this show?? Amazing acting, brilliant story and the creators bring it all together to keep you on the edge of your seat and binge the show in one day. Absolutely cannot wait for season 2. The creators show through their hard work and dedication just how much they love entertaining us!! Very well done!!

I first listened to Rose Drive in 2017 and was truly blown way! Currently re listening for the 3rd time, thank god for awful memory! Extremely well done voice acting, audio production and sound design! The story line is captivating and very thought out. I‘m a No Sleep podcast nerd and i’ve tried listening to several other audio drama podcasts, Rose Drive is definitely my favorite! I can’t wait for more and hope to see future podcasts from this creator! Thank you, Raul! Job well done!

Not only is this podcast rooted in an intense mystery, it’s also well written, well acted, well directed, and my GAWD the sound! You will feel like you’re inside the world of the show. I don’t know how they did it but I’m so glad they did. An experience unlike I’ve ever had in any other podcast.

The experience of listening to Rose Drive is something that every fan of audio thrillers should have. The story is compelling, and characters are relatable and developed. But the audio that compliments the story being told is next-level. Every sound is intentional and adds to the intensity and the emotion of the story. The episodes are short and easy to listen to, and leave you wanting more. Plus, the acting and production is very professional, so nothing takes you out of the story. Listening to this podcast will scare you, make you feel things, and spin the wheels in your head as you try and figure out the mystery. Rose Drive is super well done and it’s only getting better!

I’ve been listening to this podcast on my runs and have actually ran longer just so I can hear the end of the episode which is very unlike me to do. It’s great to listen to and apparently great for my physique as well :)

I just started listening to podcasts within the past couple weeks because they engage my mind while I do my monotonous, mundane job. I get through one or two seasons each day of whatever podcast I can find. I must say that this is by far my favorite podcast I have found so far and there have been many I liked. The story is great with a plot that keeps you on your toes. What’s going to come next? I don’t know and it will continue to have me thinking until Sept 6th when the finale comes out. Are you listening?

Some podcasts are all bells and whistles. While others are scarce and difficult to listening. Rose Drive strikes the balance that makes you binge. Just finished 2017. So glad I came across this one. Cannot wait to hear the rest of the story.

When is the next season going to come out???? I need more!

Great show addictive storyline for binge listening..only real complaint, in a few episodes there are some unintelligible parts . Example Cameron- end conversation after accident can not understand anything Forrest or Greg says muffled low volume and excessive echo however Cameron is super loud. A few episodes have similar sound balancing issues and or acting/reading issues some of the acting sounds more like they are reading, mumbling and stumbling through annunciation. Though for the most part, the acting is pretty good and convincing.

The best way to describe this podcast is ... it's like listening to a really amazing video game. Enough detail to really get in your imagination and the music and background sounds are absolute perfection. The production values on this are above and beyond any other podcast I listen to. The story is interesting and then there was a twist and it got weird and even more interesting and I can't wait to find out more!

Hooked from the start, I couldn't wait to hear what happened next and then wanted more. I'm really looking forward to another season!

It’s really just... ok. The main character’s entire persona grinds my gears. We already have enough stories written from the perspective of angsty, woe-is-me, must-get-revenge dude bros. Honestly the guy sounds like every other self-centered schmuck I knew in high school. That’s probably why I cant seem to connect with him. I’m tickled by the accuracy of describing Benicia AKA “Southampton” and it’s locals. The voice actors could be real-life residents I knew once upon a time. As for the story, it’s just ‘meh’. I’m quite sure the raving 5 star reviews are from star-struck Benicia residents happy that someone from their little town “made it”. I can’t blame them, but compared to the competition it just isn’t as good... yet. Ditch the angsty protagonist. The mom in me just wants to slap him and send him to his room until he can ditch the attitude.

Rose Drive has everything I want in an audio drama - a very thought-out script, amazing sound quality and design (which is my favorite part about any audio drama), and filled with catchy music. God, I am so excited for more episodes / seasons to come!

Umm I’m going to need a season 2. ASAP

When I started this I wasn't sure it was going to be my thing, but I kept with it and I have to say I love it. The story is creepy, suspenseful and feels like everything can break at any moment. The last episode left me excited for the next season, as all good ending episodes should! I can't wait for Season 2!

Oh my gosh. I just binged the entire first season of this show and I am in complete awe. The thoughtful writing, the on-point sound effects, the beautiful music, and the incredibly realistic voice acting all work perfectly to create a compelling and immersive story. I am blown away by the sheer talent evident in this audio drama, and I can't wait for more. Bravo.

I just finished my binge. I love this pod!! Great sound. Each epi brought you closer to finding out what’s going on. I loved the personal thoughts during the convos. The ending gave me chills. What a cliff hanger. Can’t wait for S2!!!

Rose Drive does stuff with narration I've never heard done before in audiodrama, plus it provides twists and turns that I didn't honestly see coming. Just when you think you have things figured out...nope...you were wrong. This series made me wait for a good while when it first started promoting itself, so when it finally came out, I had hyped it up a good bit in my mind. Thank you for living up to the hype.

The story is so riveting I am on the edge of my seat waiting for each new episode! The sound design is pure art, and I love how you get to listen to the thoughts of different characters as they reveal new details that help solve this insane mystery. So good!!!

Intense & real, this show will get under your skin in the best way. It’s so incredibly put together you’ll think you lived it.
