It’s fun to throw on this podcast from time to time and just relax listening to some great stories and insightful information about hunting. Looking forward to future episodes and learning more!

I found this podcast right around the time these fellers started. I was also starting my hunting adventures here in Indiana. It's been really cool to listen to a couple dudes give their viewpoints & stories as newcomers to the sport and lifestyle.

This is a great pod cast for new and experienced hunters. A fresh perspective on topic from gear, tactics and ethics. Their views are open minded and seam from humble roots. Nice work.

This is a favorite of mine. These guys explain everything so well that it’s so easy to understand for a person new to hunting. Their shows are full of helpful information all intended to make your experience in the outdoors more enjoyable. I really appreciate the information they share about what they learned while doing things like making sausage. Makes it very easy to learn how to do things yourself. Great shows, guys!

I, too, am a rookie, if you will. I have hunted deer since so was 13 and have never even seen a buck in the woods. Never! That being said, I take great encouragement from listening to your podcast. I am 51 and am on a quest to rectify this and add elk, moose, bison, bear and Russian bore into the mix. Keep up the great work! Cheers, Mr. Butter

This is one of my favorites I listen to these guys often never miss a podcast and while I wait for a new one I listen to the old ones there a great sense of humor to all them and it’s nice to hear from up north and the experiences I relate to 100% a lot of my. I really enjoy this show because it is not some super-technical commercial in disguise as a podcast. It brings the perspective of the average, not just the rookie, hunter who just wants to get some tips and advice on how to improve his or her time afield.

I like beer and hunting( not at the same time) but these guys nail it with some great topics. While I’m a life long hunter I still grab nuggets from these guys. We are all students. This is a great podcast, subscribe and download now!

Hello Men! I must start with the standard "I love your podcast." I grew up in a hunting family but don't believe that anyone can stop learning about hunting if they're seriously dedicated. I really enjoy the amount of time you guys spend on food; from the processing to the cooking. The gear lists and reviews have also been a kick. I always pick up some new bit of info from every one of your podcasts. The recent "swapcast" about why we hunt was super good and really got a guy thinking. I am always looking for new ways to explain my love of the outdoors and hunting to "the other side." Keep up the good work and when you make it to Montana feel free to look me up! Cheers!

Nice to listen to others we can relate to in our adventure of becoming better conservationists.

The learning curve for hunting is very difficult. These guys do a good job at covering topics that are relevant to all hunters, especially new hunters. Definitely worth the listening to.

Love his podcast! Though I am not new to hunting, as hosts Kelly and Mike say, there's always a new aspect to hunting that makes us all Rookies. This podcast is a great way to both remember the struggles we all had starting, and not only what we learned along the way, but how we learned it. Great job guys. Keep up the stellar work!!

Love this podcast. As a fellow rookie hunter, I love listening to the success and failures and learning along with the hosts. Even If you've been hunting for decades, I'd posit you'll still find plenty to enjoy with the rookie hunter podcast.

I am a rookie as well and really enjoy this podcast, the guests you guys have had are solid along with the information your passing out. Keep up the great work guys. I havent gotten through all the podcast yet but talking about what you guys are doing from a fitness standpoint would be a great topic.

There are many great hunting podcast out there, there is so much to be gained by listening and learning through others mistakes. What the Rookie Hunting Podcast is all about being honest with how inexperienced the two of them are with this new lifestyle. It seems odd at first to have a podcast that you are not an expert in. However where are you start if you yourself is relatively new to hunting? I said you start by listening to this podcast. They both started hunting late in life Due to ethical reasons and to get a better connection with their food. These guys have fresh ideas and I just love the honesty. As a freshman in university studying Fish and Wildlife Management, these podcasts are a great inspiration and great introduction into the conservation world. As a new hunter without any mentors, this podcast offers great information and helpful tips on how to get started. Keep it up guys.

As a newer hunter myself, it is enjoyable to listen to people go through the same starting process that I have. Excellent info through out the episodes. Whether you are just starting out or are a seasoned veteran, this should be a podcast that you give a listen.
