I am delighted that Jennifer Jenkins accepted my invitation to join me on Roland's Travels. 

Jennifer has written a fabulous novel, Three, based on real people living in the Derbyshire village of Eyam during 1665/66 when the Bubonic plague struck the village. The villagers went into lockdown to protect the surrounding population. The story is told through the eyes of three women, hence the title, and Jennifer brings to life how events must have unfolded.
