I found the Rokcast about a year ago, the content is amazing and I have learned a lot from listening. The only thing I would like is more episodes about Oregon deer hunting.

Please hire a sound engineer. Robbie sounds like he is talking through a balled up sock and he’s sitting across the room from his microphone. Other than that, the hunting content is very informative. I wish Robbie would stick to exclusively talking about that subject, because when he veers off course, I start wondering why I subscribe.

Use to cover all kinds of hunting topics and species. Now it’s just mule deer 98% of the time. And Robby Denning reading a book to you like you’re a child. Totally worthless now.

Having had the opportunity to meet and shoot with Robbie, he is as genuine in person as he seems on the podcast. Great show, great people, great information, great platform in Rokslide.

I enjoy hearing from the biologists on mule deer. I would like to hear from them about the percentage of bucks that make it to each age class. In the Wyoming range, Idaho range, or even Utah. Maybe a comparison between otc and draw units, or even in regions Keep up the rockcast. I look forward to it each week

Best hunting podcast. Great conversations with knowledgeable guests.

This is the best hunting podcast out there, especially if you hunt mule deer. Robby, Travis and Sam are excellent hosts, upbeat and a wealth of knowledge, plus they seem like genuinely awesome guys who would be a joy to share a hunting camp with. The guests they invite are top notch as well. I learn something new every episode.

I enjoy the biology talk, love to learn from people that know what they are talking about! Keep up the good work!

The podcast has good information and relevant topics. They do a good job focusing on off season habitat, survival, studies, etc to keep outdoorsman and women informed. The negative, They have a high tendency to cut off their guests and pull conversations off the topic and niche that the guests are trying to convey. I’m the guests they have are a wealth of knowledge and the continuous interjections downgrade the quality of the podcast compared to other hunting/wildlife based podcasts. I’ll continue to consume content via Rokcast, but that’s certainly something that could be worked on from a long time listener.

Anytime I can listen to Mr. Denning, I do! Wealth of knowledge, so personable and just a great podcast with quality guests - if you love Mule Deer specifically and want to know more about the species. This is your podcast.

Robby, Travis and Sam do a great job of providing in-depth current information on mule populations throughout the west. As respected hunters and conservationists, they are able to invite wildlife biologists across several states to discuss deer herd dynamics, drought monitoring, herd management and many more. Have a listen and I’m sure you’ll agree!

Robby, Travis, Sam and company do a great job of providing quality information on deer and deer hunting (among other species!) to listeners. Their guests are knowledgeable on topics including gear, tactics, and (most importantly) biology and management of deer. Great way to keep informed on what going on and how to help improve deer herds and deer hunting.

Really enjoy every show and especially the biologist talks in various states and research that is taking place. Appreciate being educated by your guests on potential effects of public land with major issues like the solar farm stuff. Keep up the great work of information for us western hunters!

I enjoy gear reviews like everyone else for new products but I’m really liking the shift towards hunting stories of old and new. Good hunting stories from good people keep me motivated way more than gear I can’t afford or justify buying. Listening to this podcast always has me listening very closely. Its like listening to the words your wise grandfather has to say, but in terms of relating to hunting mule deer and the years of experience that is contributed to the content in each episode. Pay attention, and hunters of all experience levels can learn something!

This podcast is loaded with high level hunting advice. Every time Robby talks is worth listening. I own both his books and still listen to the show to help improve the way i think, plan for and hunt mule deer. Even if you know it all there is still something to learn from this show and it’s not packed with annoying gimmicky ads and low quality product placement.

This podcast has come along ways! I love hearing stories off giant animals and how to harvest them. A lot of hunting podcasts are hunter’s journeys and ideas of hunting big animals. This one is more about experiences and knowledge. You can’t give someone something you don’t have. That’s why I come here to listen to these men share their experiences, and knowledge of big animals.

If you love mule deer and big bucks listen to Travis and Robby. Thanks guys for the good stories and tips for finding better bucks.

Robby and Travis both provide great, easy to understand, and effective information. You will be a better person and hunter just by listening. Both are everyday hunters that scratch big deer out of average units. General season 180s are way cooler than limited entry 230s. Two legends that are worth listening to.

The best podcast for mule deer.. no other podcast has the mule deer IQ like Rokcast!

Very informative

This podcast is great for information on specific gear and tactics for western hunting. Also, very good to find a podcast that gets to the point. At 15 to 30 minutes, you get get a full podcast in on the way to work.

When Matt Cashell talks about optics you might as well stop what your doing and listen carefully. Matt really geeks out on optics and that is a huge bonus for us hunters so we can get the most bang for our buck when we make our next optic purchase. Thank you Jordan, you rock
