Yaddle Approved Podcast.
A go-to for all of the breaking Yaddle and Yarael Poof news. Great cast of funny people who love Star Wars, but aren’t too worried about the “significance” or “legacy” of Star Wars. Makes me smile, which these days is an accomplishment!

A delightful way to revisit Star Wars legends
During the pandemic, I took a deep dive back into the Star Wars legends books and (re)discovered that Zahn’s books are actually great while a good portion of everything else is a fantastic disaster. Now I’m working my way through Rogue Podron’s back catalogue of episodes and loving their snarky commentary as they revisit these books as well. This show is so much fun. It’s a great substitute for making my friends and family listen to my opinions about these books for hours… 😂
PS Please, please continue and do Children of the Jedi. I need to hear your Callista takes.
PPS I hope you enjoy these nourishing stars.

Your one stop shop for deserved Corran take downs, Nath Tensent’s podcast, and very funny if stretched podron puns. Don’t read Star Wars books. Just experience them through Rogue Podron.

If Star Wars Were A Podcast....
If the Star Wars Saga were a podcast, it would be: Rogue Podron, because it's a total joyful mess of endless self-references which obviously shouldn't work but is made with so much heart that it transcends its individual chaotic elements to become something unique.
Let's not beat around the bush here; there are a thousand Star Wars podcasts covering every topic you can imagine. What sets Rogue Podron apart isn't the content, but the hosts, who are some of the most hysterically funny podcasters I have ever listened to, often even on purpose. Each one brings a completely different dynamic to the show, and they always bring out the best in each other. The show works because of the genuine warmth of their friendship, so that as a listener you feel you're listening in on real close friends discussing the stuff they care about.
And they do care about it! Even the trashiest, most absurd pieces of Star Wars writing which get shredded on this show are clearly treated with the sort of affection that can only come from a deep seated lore of the franchise. I can always tell an episode is going to be special if it has Meg or Saf proclaiming "I HATE STAR WARS!" at the top of their lungs over a chorus of giggles, the one sentiment that every single fan of this franchise has fervently felt at one time or another.
If you're looking for a new Star Wars podcast, jump in on any episode of Rogue Podron at all for an absolutely phenomenal good time. Honestly, any of them. I think the Alphabet Podron episodes are the best for sincerity, and the Glove of Darth Vader or Dark Empire for mockery, but you can't go wrong anywhere. And word to the wise - if you feel like you've just leapt in part-way through an ongoing conversation having missed like fifty frequently referenced earlier events and in-jokes... well that seems right for a franchise that started with Episode IV anyway, right? Just like then, you'll quickly catch on!

I finally learned how to write a review
I started listening because I like Star Wars but stayed because the hosts are delightful. Absolutely the best podcast that has done a deep dive into the character of Ziro the Hutt.

A vital listen for all Star Wars fans
The crew's discussion of Chapter 13 of "The Mandalorian," and Lucasfilm's casting of Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, was my introduction to this podcast, and I'm exceptionally grateful for the hosts' candor in offering their perspective on why the casting was so hurtful to so many in the "Star Wars" fandom. I laughed and, most importantly, learned a lot during the discussion, and I look forward to doing more of both as a regular Rogue Podron listener.

A Laugh-Riot Group that Deserves as much Attention as Corran Horn Reserves for Himself
To be clear, these fans do not seem to have a vested interest in the continuity of Star Wars canon and Legends, but rather a continuity for running gags and groaners that come with a lot of these longtime Star Wars authors. Whether it’s looking at trashy romances or priceless bromances, the focus is in the finer details of the franchise’s ever-expanding “literature”. I always listen in when I play my Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO and their dissonant voices still remind me why the social aspects of fandom truly exist: to bring awkward attention seekers together to laugh not vent at the tiniest of details i.e. what would a date night between Ysanne Isard and the Emperor really look like - the answer may surprise you!
WARNING: DO NOT LISTEN IN IF YOU ARE DRIVING A VEHICLE. ALSO, YOU DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO EXPLAIN YOUR UNCONTROLLABLE GIGGLES TO ANYONE AND I MEAN ANYONE.

Technically a Book Club
The way Star Wars books ought to be treated: with absurdist humor, thoughtful analysis, dramatic readings, and marine biology tangents. It all fits perfectly together through the fact that you can tell the hosts love spending this time with each other.

New season, same old hijinks
The new season starts off with a bang w/Twilight company by Alexander Freed. Awesome bok, btw. Don't miss out this guys are insightful, their improv within an episode are funny and will leave you in stitches. They're ultimate pros and beautiful people. Pash Out. Pew to infinity and beyond. Sorry for the Toy Story pun.

Yub yub, Rogue Leader!
This is the only Star Wars podcast I know of that—at different points—is equally capable of making you laugh until you cry, or cry until you laugh...and either way being exactly what you needed (and often, didn’t even know you needed) in the moment.
The back catalog is great for an irreverent look at a beloved Legends series whose qualifications are a bit more, shall we say, /slender/ when approached with a modern viewpoint. But the newer episodes show that a “book club” can transcend its material to find its own voice, and build its own community; as cliché as it has become to say, the real Rogues and Wraiths are the friends they’ve made along the way.
The perfect podcast to listen to while:
- Driving to the bone market (wearing all black with an Ewok doll in your lap to fool any actor-impersonating-a-baron you may encounter en route, of course)
- While savoring a weekend you-pick-two, or
- While snuggled up with a body pillow depicting your particular choice of aquatic species.
- (Perhaps not recommended for lunchtime listening at the workplace; from experience, your reactions WILL prompt startled responses. Though nothing compared to how coworkers would react if they were listening along themselves...)
As I wish I was brave enough to say as I was disconnecting from my last conference call, Pash out!

Absolute chaotic delight
as someone who grew up reading more of the Star Wars EU than was probably healthy, it's been so much fun to get back into the Corr- *X-Wing* books and related media (including The Crystal Star which I read when I was 11 and might be the only one I haven't re-read?) with this wonderful and delightful pod-family of dumb nerds. they get at some of the key themes and character arcs, guided by EU veteran Meg, but they've also internalized the one rule to star wars fandom zen - star wars is ridiculous, doesn't make internal sense, and most importantly, if you want to you'll eventually find something to enjoy about all the offerings of this franchise, maybe even Solo. the hosts absolutely make this pod, and i'm not sure how I went so many years an EU fan without Saf, Danny, Meg, Heath, and now Ash. Glistening Bodhi's for all! Pew! Pew!

The chaotic evil of pods
So awhile ago I made a joke review while drunk while Skyping with Meg and Saf and some other friends. What I said still stands but I wanted to write a real review too. Rogue Podron makes me laugh every single time I listen. Nothing brightens my day more than getting a notification that these four dinguses & Meg have uploaded a new episode. Getting to meet Saf, Meg, Heath, & Danny (and then also have Danny get to hang out at my house and be a bad influence when we were drinking) was incredible and I’ll cherish that forever. Adding Ash has been fantastic and she should totally also be on LBT but that’s besides the point. Love you all. Have some stars. Fill ya bellies. I am fins up all in for all y’all.

This show is bonkers and you should love it.
Listen, there are far too many places where you can discuss Star Wars entirely too seriously. Instead, come here to get weird. From its beginning as a fairly earnest read-through of the X-Wing books, this group of friends morphs their conversation into an injoke-laden romp through the weird heart of Star Wars fandom. Come learn about sexy sad ex-Imperial pilots, found families, and why B-Wings are like chickens. This is a story about space wizards meant for children, so it only makes sense that we have as much fun with it as Rogue Podron does. Pash OUT.

Where I head for some fun Star Wars discussions...
I'm keeping this short and sweet. I love this show. The hosts are fun and friendly, and it feels like I'm just sitting in on a conversation with some old friends.
Keep up the great work!!

Great chemistry marred by mediocre audio
I love the hosts, who have great chemistry, and the dialogue and repartee are fantastic. But it’s semi-undermined by the challenging audio quality. Not only is listening to the hosts less pleasant than it could be (due to audio distortion, Skype artifacts, etc), but the audio weaknesses make it harder to follow and understand what everyone is saying. This podcast would be nearly perfect with some combo of adequate mics/editing; right now it’s still worth listening to but underachieving.

A New Favorite
I just found this show and I really like it! I even went back to the beginning to listen to their older episodes. If you want people just having fun and talking about Star Wars then this is the podcast for you. The only downside is when they mispronounce bread co by saying panera lol.

What a fantastic show!
This show is brilliant! Heath, Meg, Danny, and Saf are four podcasters who love star wars and each other and it shows! I highly recommend the show for it's heart, humour, and insightful views on Star Wars! Plus they have such smart, funny episodes that anyone would have a good time listening to!

Rogue Podron is funny, it’s silly, it’s trashy in that fun way that makes you laugh till you cry, and it’s wonderful in a genuine way that can’t help but cheer you up inside. The hosts have an amazing chemistry - not only do they play off each other and the material hilariously, they’re having fun and you can feel it. If you’re looking for Star Wars, trashy romance, laughing out loud in public, or a spot in impression of a horse saying “Pepperoncini”, you’ve come to the right place.

Rogue pod latecomer, but started bingeing catching up for SW Celebration 2019, and I really can’t stop. Listening feels like hanging with your friends and talking about Star Wars when you can’t hang with your friends and talk about Star Wars. Seasons 1-11 are on legends books (mostly X-wing series), but they came back (season 12) with a new format of discussing a single topic of SW Universe each week. Somehow the Rogues have made me love the podcast even more than I already did.

Pew, pew, pew, pew, pew.
Start listening to this podcast from the beginning! Join in with Meg, Danny, Saf, and Heath as their EU book club explores these classic 90's sci-fi disasters. Their commentary is better than the contents of the books, and will make you laugh until your sides ache. This summer was spent bingeing on this show, and I can't think of a better way to have spent it. By the way, Bothans are the butt of most of their jokes, so if you're a Bothan-enthusiast, please approach with caution.

Legends, like zombie Lujayne, never die
This is the perfect background podcast to have on when reminiscing with some classic Legends books. Don't be misled by the rather solemn intro; the actual body of the podcast is playful enjoyment of the non-pewpew aspects of the books. I especially love the contrast between their irreverent mangling of the villains' names (hello Kitten Loormat, Warlord Gabor, and Prince-Admiral Babybear) and their fondness for such minor characters as Dorset Konnair and Broak Vessery. The pod is led by Meg, who lives her life one quarter podron at a time, and despite being the responsible pod-mom most of the time, she doesn't hesitate to lose control of her laughter with the best of them. Her wingmates are Saf, who Lucasfilm owes big bucks to for use of her personality in L3, and Danny and Heath, who owe Lucasfilm big bucks for their uncanny recreation of the Wiz and Hobbie dynamic. The past ten seasons have seen them cozy up to the Rogues, become fiercely protective of the Wraiths, and never quite get warm up to Corran Horn. Now, after a false start that wasn't quite as bad as finding out your crush's dead husband was actually alive, they're finally starting Starfighters of Adumar, the crowning jewel in the X-Wing series, and I can’t wait for them to start up again.

A delight
A bright spot of cheer, decency, and occasional tears in a fandom that’s become far too angry in recent years.

Great Podcast with welcoming hosts
I first found out about Rogue Podron when Heath went and and photoshopped my Twitter profile picture to include Zuvio in it, but I did not start listening until the Courtship of Princess Leiapodron, which I could not believe was an actual book. After that I went back and listened through all of the episodes. Now I look forward to listening to each new episode. The host are all welcoming and the banter between them is just perfect. With so much hate being spewed across Star Wars fandom, this group rises above it all and produces such a joy to listen to. Danny, Meg, Saf, and Heath (+Nanci and Brian, when they are on) show off the best the Star Wars community has to offer, in their humorous approach to a very dated series of books that I enjoyed as a child, but can now laugh at as an adult.

Oh no, not the yams!
If you enjoy podcasts that feel like hanging out with a group of friends, making dorky in-jokes and laughing so hard you can’t breathe, this podcast is for you. I’ve enjoyed their coverage of the Rogue Squadron books far more than I ever enjoyed the books themselves, and even the Allston books (already my favorites in the whole EU) are more fun with Saf’s alien voices — I’d never imagined Runt whinnying before, but it’s so perfect — and Meg’s cunning misdirects about where things are going. :D I’m so chuffed to have found them in time to read along with their “Starfighters of Adumar” coverage, whenever they get there; I suspect I’ll enjoy it even more this time around, since I never really paid much attention to Tycho among the more flamboyant pilots before, but Heath’s appreciation has made me love him too. Thank you all!

I LOVE THIS PODAST! You may know me from my answers for the listener question and winner of 3 glistening Bodhi's, 4 slightly smaller glistening Bodhi’s, a glistening Bor Gullet, and a glistening middle finger too. Yes it is I, news of the galaxy on twitter. This podcast is great and not boring at all, it makes you laugh, cry, and kiss your sanity goodbye. There comedy consist of Saf saying something strange (yams anyone), making fun of Danny, innuendos, and sometimes just words that sound like other words. They read the X-wing books and talk about them especially the saucey part (chopper sound). The only problem is that they haven’t watched any movies ever so get on that. It’s great so listen to it ok.

I yub you guys. Yub.
I recently started scouting iTunes for eu pods because I think I read every eu book they wrote and was feeling nostalgic. Found you guys and like glittered pink bacta (or herpes) I just couldn't get rid of you. The constant snark and millennial gusto drew me in like Wedge to a widow or Coran to narcissistic introspection. I wanted to point out a quick thought on this weeks episode: how is everyone cool with keeping a sentient teddy bear as a pet?
Ps: Saf I think I'm in love with you.

Non-stop fun! With a side of eggplant emoji
Started listening to this podcast just before SWCO 2017 as I kept hearing their name come up in other podcast and had to check it out for myself. Although I have not read a bunch of Star Wars books, especially Old EU, I really enjoy their take on the books and really makes me want to read every X-Wing book ever written. Sure there are some inside jokes that I still don't really know but there are times when my stomach hurts from laughing so much. I love this show and love the hosts and don't ever want to stop... twss

appropriately weird
I love this show! The hosts have great chemistry, the humor and discussions are lively and fun. The format of dicsussion of the X-Wing books with the focus on the relationships rather than the action is right up my alley. I wish I could give each of the hosts a Glistening Bodhi.

Hillarious and on-point
The Rogue Podron crew has become my favorite way to re-experience my favorite Star Wars series, The X-Wing novels. The groups fun commentary and discussion has given me new food for thought on all the characters, plans, and situations that fill these books. The hosts love interacting with their fans and do an incredible job making their listeners laugh along with them. My only word of caution is that this podcast can be dangerous to listen to. I was laughing so hard during one episode, I nearly drove into a toll plaza and have taken care since to never listen while operating heavy machinery. I can't recommend this podcast enough to Star Wars fans new and old.
