In the opening passage of the book of Joshua, we see that Moses proclaimed the promises of God to the people of God.

In Deuteronomy 30, we are given an invitation to choose life instead of death. 

We are all in danger of drifting away from Jesus due to sin, opposition, suffering, or busyness.  There's no such thing as SuperChristians. Pursuing Jesus via spiritual disciplines simply keeps us tethered to the Savior.

Authority should be used to love people like Jesus! 

In today's episode, we use Hebrews 1:1 as a diving board to jump into a conversation about how God spoke through the prophets in the OT. We land on the reality that the Spirit of God empowers all people, indiscriminately, to prophetically speak into the world around us about the glory of God. 

Zephaniah 2:3 reminds us of what it is that we should be seeking and pursuing each week! 

In 1 Thessalonians 2:4, we are reminded that we are to lead in our churches in such a way that pleases God, not man. 

Our sinful choices and our broken moments don't disqualify us from living out our God-given callings. 

In Galatians 1, Paul states that the gospel he's sharing isn't his own. Rather, it is the gospel of God. The content of the gospel reminds us that we are in need of a Savior.
