I’ve been an avid listener to this podcast for over 10 years. Unfortunately RJ Bell has lost his mojo and feels outdated…..also the quality of the sound of Bell is terrible and hard to listen to.

This pod has really gone down hill. There is very little actual analysis and rationale anymore. The sound quality is terrible.

RJ Bell’s Dream Preview used to be one of the more reliable free betting pods out there. Solid hosts, real analysis, and you knew what you were getting each week. That’s mostly gone now. The big break came when Steve Fezzik left after the Super Bowl. He told RJ he was burned out, and the show moved to a rotating group of guests. Lately it’s been a lot of Munaf Manji (sometimes without RJ even on), SleepyJ, Dave Essler, and whoever else is available. Longtime listeners have noticed. Munaf is boring to listen to. Zero personality. Such a bummer. Fix it RJ. Your ego has crushed your own product.

Is RJ speaking into a megaphone? It is 2026 and the pod has never sounded worse, quality-wise. Can’t keep any guests around for more than a season. Just a shell of itself, at this point.

The worst part of the podcast is the Eminem intro that blows out your headphones every time the pod starts. Worst part is, it is never in the same spot each episode, so, skipping forward to miss it can entail missing some info. Eminem is cool, but losing my hearing is not. Don’t come to this pod for knowledge about individual players, the hosts can hardly pronounce some names (one pronounces Luka’s last name like “Don-kitch”). This and other things make it slightly tough to listen to at times. Also, apparently RJ is so busy during the day that he can’t find anytime for a snack other than during recording this pod. Not more than 15 minutes into the most recent episode and he’s opening a bag of chips. Nothing worse than hearing bags crumbling and him chewing as he’s talking. But, again, the impeccable knowledge of NFL and NCAAF is there. Sound quality is going down, RJ seems uninterested, just stay away from This one.

Rj’s lack of attention to detail with show production, his inability to keep a solid handicapper like Hoffman fezz rivers and even sidenberg who stunk at the time just shows something is off and this is not what it use to be. Rj literally rivals fezz if not better than fezz at handicapping, but today I dropped this from my feed. I hope one day it turns around and it makes it back. Ten year listener out.

How are the not embarrassed to produce a show which such bad quality

I’ve enjoyed listening to RJ’s podcast, but the recent audio quality has been disappointing. The feed has been noticeably crackly and distorted at times, which makes it difficult to listen to and takes away from the overall experience. Hopefully the audio issues can be addressed, because good sound quality makes a big difference for the listeners. I’d love to see the podcast continue to improve and get the attention to production quality that it deserves.

Been a listener for years and each year the podcast has declined. Sadly it’s reached unlistenable status at the most fun time of the NFL year. Get back to basics or just end it at this point

I mean one guy comes in and states a fact Seahawks played 5th toughest strength of schedule. Next we get this guy who you can barely hear and is literally only speaking on how much he loves the patriots here and how they are going to win. He goes on a rant about what offenses the Seahawks defense has played without speaking about Matthew Stafford the nfl MVP. I mean guys please if the patriots get blown out get this guy off the show he’s basically a fan with professional bettors giving zero game facts and he sounds like he is miserable.

Echoing what many others have said the last few months, this pod is not what it once was. Sometimes struggled to find cohosts over the years and wow this Munaf Manji guy is like listening to paint dry. Need Hoffman, Seidenberg, hell even Jonas from the early SOV days. Currently these pods are a freakin bore to listen to and the gambling content isn’t goood either. Whose idea was it to put sleepy uncle Dave with this munaf guy, AWFUL!

Get back to the basics RJ! The fundamentals that made this pod a diamond. Anymore it’s trends and props…plus all the shows that don’t have RJ just suck dick to listen to. Good luck feels like the pod is dying

Been listening for years only complaint is RJ audio is low compared to Fez or Mackenzie. At moments RJ audio goes high and then real low. Besides that’s one of the most informative NFL podcasts out there.

Used to get 5 sides or totals now it’s dumb 1q bets that a -150 and player props, we want sides and totals

What happened to AJ Hoffman? This replacement is so mush. I definitely understand how difficult handicapping can be but one game in college football and this guy might have one twice? In super sweats? Another thing, why do the pod if only dedicating less than an hour? If Fez is so hot in college because he’s clearly not in NFL reaching at quarter bets now why doesn’t he come on and give a play. Do better y’all. You are more than capable

Used to get 5 picks on sides from 3-4 analysts. Now it’s all totals and obscure first quarter bets and nonsense. Not what it once was

Munaf Manji is a scam artist do no join any pools that he hosts, you will never see your winnings! Clearly his co-hosts and this company condone this type of behavior. Do not trust them. Would have left zero stars if possible.

Needs more chess talk

I understand sports betting…I really do. I know that there are going to be some duds. It happens and the ball bounces funny. That said, it sure seems more often than not they’re touting a team or a total to juice the line for a better number on their side.

Used to be an avid weekly listener. RJ , Fezzik, and team used to systematically go through all of the games on the NFL slate in an organized fashion interjecting their methods and logic using data, numbers, etc. Then the flow of the change changed around 2024 to going through each of their 5 weight, 4 weight, 3 weight , 2 weight and 1 weight plays; this was fine since they’d still touch on each game. Now listening in 2025, this show is just all over the place and hard to follow as they jump from method to method or game to game…just seems more and more like a bunch of rambling. Only giving it a 2 star instead of 1 since these guys are definitely experts in their area and have the potential to get back to what it was.

Used to be an avid listener but all this podcast has turned into is RJ condescending Mackenzie and Fezz talking about good numbers he gave out to his clients. Griffen just takes home teams in college bball so that podcast is also pointless.

Does RJ Bell still work here? Might be time to change the name of the podcast if he’s never actually going to be on it.

Love the show. I think towers could go away but everything else is great. Guy swears he knows everything and it’s easy. He’s just uninteresting and talks wayyyy too much. How he got a career in broadcasting is nonsense Also hoping yall were doing an nfl season preview but I’ve always been a loyal listener and will never sway. Been listening since 2017

When AJ did the CFB pod it was great. The first couple weeks was good with Griffin and Big East Ben but it’s awful now. Ben audio is always messed up. They give picks on games when they don’t even like a side they just pick on the spot.

I stopped listening to the college football/basketball podcasts after AJ moved on. Love the NFL podcasts with RJ, Fez, Scott & Mackenzie.

NFL Dream pod used to be a solid podcast with well thought out handicaps and research. This year, they just retrofit obsolete trends and blindly follow them, but it definitely isn’t working. I miss the old pods

I used to look forward to this show every week during NFL season. I don’t know who these new guys are. I don’t know what happened to RJ and Fez, etc.

Show has great sports betting content. However, the one sided political attack adds is making this a tough listen. I do not listen to this pod for political takes

Don’t ever stop I’ve been listening since you guys had the radio show straight out of Vegas I only wish Jonas Knox came with you guys but man podcast hasn’t been affected by that I love the analysis of football. I wish I was more into other sports I don’t really gamble but the insight these guys give is wild and I’ll make sure bets with buddy’s and this is why I’m winning against em.

Couldn’t ask for a better NFL take. Deciding on who to trust between RJ and Fez is my only dilemma.

My favorite podcast to trim the fat on my picks. While on the subject of trimming fat if you just stop addressing the power 75 mins you might actually get it to an hour. If y’all cut down entertaining rjs old movie tangents that aren’t really funny/interesting and just give the other brains in the trust that don’t get enough shine like Makenzie you can have a show that is more meat than fat. I mean half of rjs deal is just eating chips and clowning anyone not named Steve. He leaves early all the time anyways. Just cut the goodfellas stories and actually talk sports. It’ll be a 5 star show. Edit: while you guys haven’t fixed any old issues I gotta say STOP RELEASING PODCASTS ABOUT GAMES THAT ALREADY PASSED!!! What are we doing here?! I’ve learned far more about sports betting from this podcast than I have from every other pod combined. Entertaining and informative.

We need all of you guys together on the picks pod. The best parts of the pod in my opinion are the rebuttals and crossfires. You guys are very informative, handicap storytellers.

Great job to Ben on a first week winner. Then you made sure to counterbalance Griffin’s under bet with an over bet in week two. Keep up the good work fellas.

Love a lot of the content. Best bets could be better organized as they are often sprinkled throughout content. My main hang up, especially for the college betting is focusing on big games. That makes sense for other kinds of shows but for betting we want to know where Vegas is wrong and that is far more likely to be in less watched games. I can get my big match previews elsewhere. From y’all I couldn’t care less about big games. What are the best bets?

Good info each week from vegas ,sometime go on on tangents about childhood stories or NON betting stuff like music but overall decent info for sports bettors

Most of the team has great chemistry. Big fan of rj and fezz. Four stars because that towers guy is terrible. He has diarrhea of the mouth and has no gambling angle at all. He can’t even hold a conversation - just wants to listen to himself. I skip forward his sections and skip over his featured podcasts

RJ is rude, condescending, and annoying. He constantly cuts off his co-hosts mid sentence, berates them and attempts to come across as smarter than them when it’s obvious he is not. No matter how many times he says “I’ll be candid” he’s not convincing anyone that he has an above than average vocabulary and should consider that as he talks down to his colleagues. Opening a soda can right into the mic in the midst of someone speaking is also so unbelievably disrespectful to his co-hosts that it infuriates me. In all honesty, I truly appreciate everyone’s opinion on this show other than his. If you have that type of personality I don’t have any respect of what you have to say… let the others speak. They’re more likable and more relatable.

This is the best overall sports betting podcast. I’ve been listing for years. It’s not all about the picks, which are also very informative. It’s about the way a handicapper should break down a game, handle bankroll and get the best of the number. Plus it’s funny and very entertaining. For the weak of mind it can be uncomfortable when RJ challenges his expert panel to answer hard questions about their options, but that benefits the listener to have hard questions answered honestly.

Entertaining smart guys as long as you don’t take them seriously. I heard they are selling a ncaa tourney bracket . How desperate and awful to extract money from people . Why don’t you guys sell keno numbers ?
