Sheikh Riyadh Walls is the current Imam of Masjidus Sunni in Rondebosch East, Cape Town, following many years of service a Al Jaamia Masjid in Claremont.

He reverted to Islam in 1991, and later travelled to seek Islamic knowledge in various places – including Madinah, Syria, Yemen, Jordan, Morocco, and Somalia.

With a remarkable grasp of the Arabic language and its different dialects, he is also an experienced Hajj guide and is a Hajj Coach and lecturer with the Al Jeem Foundation.
