The Art of Writing: Claudia's Journey of Self-care
Misha and Nicole spend some time with Claudia a writer, artist, and badass human being. The daughter of a migrant farmworker turned UAW shop steward and a backyard poodle breeder, Claudia Holm was born in the Detroit suburbs, the fifth of seven children. Since her own migration to San Francisco in 1978, she has been telling stories spanning 30 years from the New Wavy days in the Haight/Ashbury, to a ritzy dental ‘spa’ in Pacific Heights. Claudia taught writing at the Academy of Art University. She sits and shares her journey of self-care and growth through the art of writing.
