I just found this and find the format, thoughtful informed commentary fascinating. He includes recordings of his subjects interviews. To me it’s journalism plus it’s original and just a great listen.

Only downside is sometimes the hosts’ audio is louder than music/interview clips. At times there are assumptions made in terms of psychoanalysis. Did not appreciate that they said that Phil Anselmo’s behavior led to Dimebag’s death. But other than that I’m glad this show exists and covers all the hot topics. Love all the interview clips, music, and history covered.

Wow… what a load of amateur psychology. The hosts routinely show off their own feelings of superiority over the subjects they cover. Awful analysis. They think the have all the answers & know exactly why these people do what they do. Pathetic.

I have been on board with this podcast ever since it shifted gears to examining controversial figures in our society. The conversations are always well thought out, respectful, and hilarious! They present arguments for both sides in an informative and respectful manner, which is something that is truly appreciated especially during these divided times. 5/5 stars!!

Intelligent. Ruthlessly researched. Passionately discussed.

This show rules. I find myself fascinated by people who I never even realized were cool. Also, the hosts are great.

Entertaining & Informative. Cast is easy to listen to.

Seems interesting but it says temporary unavailable?

I found this podcast because they started a series on Marilyn Manson, one of my favorite artists. I decided, well hey, maybe I'll see what they're about before I jump in. I've listened to almost every episode since they started the "psychoanalysis of a public figure" format. I get to hear the interesting backstories of people, and also hear the intelligent hosts hash out their thoughts on them. It's really pretty great, because they balance each other out, and try to get an honest take on things. Yeah, it's a lot of speculation and conjecture and opinion, but they don't present it as anything else, and if you come in to this with an open mind, you'll learn some things, or at the very least, start thinking about them. As of this review I haven't gotten to the Marilyn Manson part yet, but I will soon. Thanks for all your hard work you put into this podcast, it's so up my alley!

Thank you for the examination of Bill Hicks

These guys do such a great job. They really make it feel like you’re watching a documentary. Very well done. If you’re interested in any of their topics you should really check it out.

Loved going back in time and listening to Wendy’s voice again! She was a one of a kind and no one will ever be like her! Great job sharing those old interviews!

This is new favorite pod!!!?!!

Love it!

My new favorite show! What a lucky find. The cover all my favorite stuff growing up! Peter Steele episode is the best

How is this podcast not huge. It’s so professional and great content.Glad to discover before it blows up!

I can’t say enough about the RTO podcast. Not only am I extremely entertained but I become much more educated on these incredible topics and controversial figures that like them or not are here to stay. Keep up the great work guys!

I just got through listening to the 3 part series on Peter Steele and I must say, it was beyond excellent. Rise to Offend didn't just provide an in-depth look into Peter's life from birth to death with humorous points, it also provided historical and psychological context to paint a broader picture of how & why things were. If you've ever wanted a more intimate portrait of the funny, smart, and insecure front man of Type O Negative, than look no further than RTO. Highly recommend this

But dang. Equal out the levels of your narrating and the sound clips. My ears keep getting blasted. Thanks for the peter Steele episodes though. That’s how I got here!

Informative, interesting and love reminiscing about all these cultural icons. 5 Stars!

I’ve been a listener for years and I’m liking the new format! Great job, Pete! Really into the Tim Lambesis episode. I have a suggestion for a topic: Mark Anthony “Gator” Rogowski. I think Gator’s story is definitely a good fit the new RTO. Check it out, I’d like to hear your take on it. Long live RTO, and thanks for keeping it alive.

I will return and update to 6 stars when itunes allows it and there are more segments about juggalos. Give the people what they want!

I discovered this show just a few months ago and have already burned through all the available eps. That's how entertaining it is. I love it even more now that they are re-releasing older eps. Gooch and Pete have a great vibe and play really well off of each other, and Kimber-Lee adds the perfect female perspective. Give it a try iffen you ain't scared of a little, okay a lot, of language.

Listened to the latest episode and was sad to hear the live show didn’t make it. BUT the episode is so good I guess it doesn’t matter. I always love this show. Proud #repeatoffender here

Been listening to Gooch on the radio since I was a kid and I have been seeing both Joz and Gooch kill it on stage now for years. Hands down two of the best comics in the Las Vegas comedy scene and the combination of the two makes for a great podcast.

Love the pod. Also f you Pete.

I think this show was a true find I laugh out loud every week

This is by far my favorite Podcast to listen too. All three of them are hilarious and have great converstations on all kinds of topics. I look forward to every episode every week. Just wish sometimes they were longer than a hour.

You owe it to yourself to have multiple eargasms! Not only will they tickle that useless funny bone of yours but they will enlighten your life (or drive you to drink) either way your life will be better! Plus when the show reaches 150 5 star ratings and reviews...Jozaly will shave her hair! That right there deserves 5 stars alone!

You owe it to yourself to give this podcast a chance. So good!

Following the simple plan outlined on this podcast, I lost 15 pounds and became a happier wife and a better mother.

Listen every week to see what dumb stuff Pete will say. Awesome show!!!

Great comedy show!! Gooch is ok. Pete is something out of a nightmare wet dream. But Jozalyn really steals the show!

The jokes are quick and fast and all 3 personalities make me laugh out loud. A must weekly listen for me!
