I've always been a big Star Wars nerd, but really only centered around the films. I never really read any of the SW Expanded Universe books/comics. When I first saw this podcast I thought it would be about simply defending the Expanded Universe and somehow talking about how AMAZING the EU was or something about how Disney was wrong for discarding it. Luckily I was wrong. This podcast seems like it comes from two guys who really LOVE Star Wars, but have no qualms with making fun of it and pointing out the absolutely insane aspects of the Expanded Universe. They do a really awesome job at slogging through the entirety of the Expanded Universe to really get to the meat of what made the EU great for many people over the last three decades while also hilariously pointing out the painful flaws in the stories and continuity through the years. At the time of this review they have plenty of books and comics to get through, so I hope they keep it up! Really awesome podcast, I couldn't recommend it enough to anyone who likes Star Wars!
