From pushing his own resume independently, to leveraging his attention for collabs, and then landing a major partnership with a pro baseball team, Kosha Dillz is a hard working lyrical rapper with madd ties to the Portland Hip Hop scene. Jersey born and raised, Kosha speaks on growing up 30 mins from Wu Tang on Staton Island, and gaining inspiration and collaborations from various hit makers in Hip Hop. Arnstar and Paul Starkman - New Hip Hop Film 'Wheels'
Brenboy is joined by Director/Screenplay-Writer Paul Starkman to talk about his new indie film, staring Harlem's own Arnstar. 'Wheels' is about a young DJ finding his way in music, while dealing with his family's struggles in the streets of Brooklyn. After directing several competition reality shows, Paul decided to write his debut feature film about his hometown and the culture he grew up on, and still loves to this day. Starkman is known for his craftsmanship and attention to detail, which is why it's no surprise that he chose Arnstar for the lead role as 'Max'. Along with continuing his rap career, Arnstar is also a leader in a Hip Hop dance group 'W.A.F.F.L.E Crew'. After filming 2 movies and recording a rap album, Arnstar and his crew were the winners of Golden Buzzer Award on America's Got Talent.  Both Paul and Arnstar talk about the film through their perspectives and give us an insight on how this project came to fruition. In this episode, Brenboy tours a 36,000-square-foot indoor cannabis facility with Co-Founder, President & CFO, Vishal Rungta to talk about their new dispensary, extraction lab, and wholesale distribution launch. C3 Industries is a multi-state, vertically integrated cannabis company with several product brands including the award-winning Cloud Cover Cannabis and Galactic Meds. They recently acquired a dispensary located on MLK Blvd in Portland, and will renovate and rebrand the store as High Profile Boutique Cannabis. The grand opening is planned for January 2021 and C3 plans to hire up to 15 new employees for the dispensary. C3 launched in Oregon in Spring 2018 with a state-of-the-art cultivation facility in the St. Johns neighborhood of Portland. Within six months of opening, C3’s premium indoor flower brand, Cloud Cover Cannabis, became one of the top indoor flower brands in Oregon and is now sold in more than 150 dispensaries throughout the state. The new Portland High Profile Boutique Cannabis dispensary will carry award-winning Cloud Cover Cannabis and Galactic Meds flower, concentrates, edibles, and vaporizers produced in C3’s facility, as well as third-party brands. In addition to entering the Portland retail market, C3 has begun construction on a state-of-the-art extraction and distillation lab. It will produce a range of premium concentrates, cartridges and edibles under the Cloud Cover Cannabis and Galactic Meds brands. C3 is also expanding its Oregon business model to include third-party wholesale distribution, allowing the company to provide a full suite of high-quality, curated products to its network of more than 150 retail buyers as well as its High Profile Boutique Cannabis dispensaries.
